i picked up their first album titled "watercourse way" to find that out myself. it is actually a little more spastic and aggressive than their later releases. i enjoy it but if you're looking for great background music or just something to chill with, stick with the windahm hill releases friend.
Can still taste what we brought for The Lawn, Chicken and Cold Duck and a bunch of other things. PBS has the Concert in their archives and I'd pay a handsome ransom to get a copy. Everytime I hear these guys play I feel that anything is possible.
Ah, the Windham Hill Concert - great group, but they were more jazz fusion I think than New Age. "New Age" I think was mainly created by record companies that had no clue how to label this type of music - i.e. they like easy to define categories.
