hey so i tried this and the second time i went to dfu mode it says usb not recognized i tried to upload dfu before but it still didnt work if u are still around can u help

Even I did press the Upload DFU file before I set my Ipod touch to DFU mode. After I set it to DFU mode, it still won't recognize my ipod touch. Then I disconnect the Ipod touch, reconnect, THE DIFFERENT COMES OUT, The itune wont pop out, the bright white screen wont come out....Ofcourse we can do nothing later.

apparently, although I uninstalled itunes completely and reinstall (quicktime also) some file or registry keeps preventing usb to recognize ipod and enter recovery state. Only virgin PC (without never seeing itunes before) can re-detect ipod once itunes is installed. Hope some guy could discover why this happens...

go to step five like i said and before ok BEFORE u put your ipod touch in DFU MODE.. PRESS THE UPLOAD DFU.. THEN TRY TO PUT IT IN DFU MODE.. THEN IT WILL POP UP A SCREEN SAYING THAT ITS NOT RECOGNIZE THEN U DO IT AGAIN AND ITUNES WILL POPUP THEN U JUST KEEP GOING ON WITH THE VID..

There is no beep sound when holding buttons for 10 sec...just the message "usd device not recognized" (no windows beep!!) its silly, cause if there were a beep then the usb IS recognized. The whole point here is that this doesnt happen. Nor the itunes page appears in recovery mode ready at 3:31 in your vid...
I know its not hardware cause if I try it in anther PC with no jailbreak attempt and install itunes it comes back to recovery mode ok...But i did jailbreak attempt in both PC at home...:(

Look, the whole point when the ipod doesnt respod cause usb not recognized is that even opening cywood and going to step 5 and pressing Hold/home wont make it usb recognizable. In your video in itunes I can see the ipod is clearly recognized (awaiting in recovery mode), but in my (and hundreds of others) the usb is just not functioning...so your vid doesnt help!!

ok if the computer doesint recognize the ipod go to step five then after press upload dfu. before u put the ipod touch n dfu mode.. then try it twise and it shoud work again..
