Nitro Engine Starting Problems ~ Things to check

when i got my nitro car i didn't brake my engine in and now i cant start it. what could i do ?

is that an team infinity .18 engine because i have a small starting problem with it (acme condor) i think it just needs tuning not drove it yet tho will try tomorow brand new

@2010nosh Stick with it, try to heat your engine up prior to starting. Check your Glow plug, tuning, idle gap and igniter is fully charged

when i start my team losi xxx nt it starts in one pull but the second i give it gas it dies i have tried to make the uel mixture lean same thing i made it rich same thing

Check ur glow plug

Heat ur engine up with a Heat gun on low or Hair Dryer on high get some fuel in to the block turn the flywheel a few times while covering the exhaust or use a primer button on your tank put Igniter on for 25secs give it a Pull or Drill and if nothing then ICBF.

jt, you sound very knowledgeable but it doesn't work when people can't hear you well. suggestion... either bring the camera closer, shoot the video indoors or get a plugin mic. (TV producer here)

cheap car. is there a time you don't have some trouble with it. my gears fail all the time. this car is cheap trash. buy a better one, not a redcat, himoto or hsp. it's all crap. if you want to go fast without trouble you need a HPI, Traxxas, Hotbodies or GS. it ain't cheap but it is a lot better and faster!

by the way, your explaining is bright. I think it will help a lot of people whit this problem. only you sound needs louder, can't almost hear you.

@SuperKnutselsmurf I never have trouble with these cars, parts are easy n cheap to replace. They are good quality for the money :) I own HPI, HSP and the rest, they are all good cars for in their price range. I understand the sound issues, all my previous videos up to 300 or so had sound issues (shame considering the amount of them!) but now I use different camera/software with external mic. cheers

i got a problem i got the backdraft 3.5 nitro car and when i start it and take the ignitor out it stops after 3o seconds of runing...can you help me plz its getting frustrating lol

@taxin187 Just lean out LSN a tiny bit. But 30 seconds is a good time, it means it's running at a good Setting. You shouldn't leave your car idling for a long time anyway

Redcat is PURE JUNK! According to my offroad club and my opinion.

If you are driving that SV on daily basis I bet the rims already broke and your spur gear has been replaced couple of times lol

@skatersfriend More than Likely they just need tuning, yes. Or check your glow plug. It might need replacing :)

@skatersfriend are you priming your engine properly? Dont forget to check your needles. If the car have been sitting for too long then try warming up the engine. if anything just pm me.

@matty01231 I know, that is model shops for you. They have sky high prices, and then wonder why no body wants to buy their models :) Online Shopping for RC Stuff is much better, you get great deals. The sooner that model shops close due to no money income the better :D hehe

@Sandeep9201 I have changed my engine to a good SH 18 Engine :) SH engines are awesome. I find the fuel lasts pretty good when you tune the engine right :)

god i just bought a tornado and i fuckin hate every single thing about redcat. the quality is horrible and i rather spend the 500 on a traxxas at least itll run way better, if anyone is thinking about buying one dont buy it save your cash, i know there is a lot of good reviews on it but i guess i was unfortunate to get a bad car.
