When it originally came out, I thought the first Spy Kids movie was the most grievous, sensibility-offending example of an excruciatingly painful, contrived, campy and ridiculous movie that makes you want to gouge your own eyes out with a rusty spoon that I had ever seen...and I was 9.

I can't even fathom why any sane adult would willingly put time, effort, money and spirit into making this movie (or any like it, really. And there are a lot of them).
