Often the most depressing comedies are the best ones. In fact, every sitcom I love is pretty depressing, Peep Show, Black Books, 15 Storeys High, The Office UK and so on. It's comedy that people can relate to because it's the real tough life with ups and mostly downs. For me, pretty much a depressed loser in real life, this kind of comedy is really comforting in a way.

Believe it or not, music has many laws like science. Whether an individual LIKES the music yes is totally subjective. A young guy can love death metal--that's subjective--but it has little music in it--rythm, melody, or harmony---but one can like it.
