My only problem with this scene is that it makes out that the Doctor's not sure why the TARDIS looks the way it does, when we know from time with the 10th Doctor that he knows perfectly well, and just likes it that way. This is why I have trouble accepting 11 as the Doctor -- because he contradicts previous incarnations so blatantly all the time!

There have always been continuity errors and will continue to be because it's hard not to have some some when you are dealing with decades of previously established mythology. There will always be different Doctors, different writers, different showrunners, different directors.. It's not always going to be the most perfect show ever made. But it will always be the greatest show ever made.

XD) Besides, maybe he likes it that way now? Everybody knows the Doctor has a blue police telephone box, it would be weird if he suddenly didn't have it anymore, wouldn't it?

@macree01 Well in one of the eps when the TARDIS's matrix was put in a human body, the Doctor asked what to call her and she said "700 hundred years and he finally asks" or something like that so she's saying he's had the TARDIS for 700 years so correct it has been doing that for around 700 years!
