  • Could you switch one relay and then test

  • Ingenious. Thanks for that tip.

  • i have one of that power probe . comouflage edition. very useful...as in very very useful..

  • great info but I do have ? when you test a relay, I know pin 30 have power all the time, but what about the fuses do they have to be with voltage?

  • what brand is that?

  • Well smart

  • I love little tricks of the trade like this knowledge is built up in many years very very good

  • awesome way to test a relay.

  • I like that kind of continuity tester, what brand and model is it?

  • @RobertNiez its a power probe, very usefull

  • Thank you, your videos are the best and I just saw 2 so far!!! Thanks again very helpful material.

  • Ah, that was good.

  • Don't do the breakout leads like that if the relay has a metal can - tape the realy can first then run the leads and tape them in place.

  • Thank you Sir, you are a "Relay Ninja".

  • That was an excellent bit of information. Thanks!

  • FREAKIN A......THAT WAS AWESOME

  • Very nice, I like that method for testing the contacts inside the engine itself, I myself have tested the relays by supplying them with 12v from the battery to see if they click.

  • u right ,,simple thing

  • I wish i used a tester first thing, i thougth i had a bad blower fan i'm in the middle of taken it out, my buddy comes over and saids stop!! "don't move" i will be right back!! he comes back with the same tester( color and all) he checks the blower fan and it was good, so now i have a bad relay on my "94"buick park ave, or what??where is it located( the relay)

  • I have a great deal of respect for your knowledge base and even more for sharing your experience with others. A++++ : )

  • I agree with thisfloisago check the ohms across the relay contacts. If you doubt the coil is getting voltage use a real meter (fluke or etc) and some needle leads that will fit into small openings. This video is a REAL good to fry something.

  • whats a relay?

  • kool i use to change all of ther they r like 40 to 50 dollars eack now i have a way thanks realfixesrealfast

  • Thanks for this info!

  • thanks ;)

  • What kind of tester is that you used in the video??

  • @Punkguyta powerprobe 3

  • or you can hook a 9v battery between 85 and 86, and if it clicks the coil works, and you can also just check the ohms.... easier...

  • nice wouldn't of thought about it
