ya you can adjust the shocks and ya your feet would be tippy toed or close to flat foot on this bike

Ok I'm looking to get a crf450r but can't decide between the 08 and 09 I've heard the 08's have tear ur arm out of their sockets power and the 09's have smoother throttle response and the 08's are cheaper by 2-3 grand is the 09 really worth it their going for 7500 not including tax the 08 you can get at 4 grand?

I'm in the same boat. I've heard some say they'de take an 08' over an 09'. And with the new 4 bolt clutch I've heard clutches are going out fast. I'm still undecided but will probably end up with an 09'.

im assuming ur american? i wouldnt buy second hand wen it comes to these bikes, people ride with dirty air filters and you dont know how long it has been on the rev limiter for or wat oil was in it. atleast when u pay the extrtra dosh you knows whats what and you can look after it,

im 16, 5'7" and weigh 130 pounds. i ride 250's all the time but have never touched a 450. do they have THAT much power? are they much harder to control than a 250? i know how to ride dirtbikes and can control one. i might get a crf450r is it a good bike?

from what i've heard its a beast of a bike....the fuel injection is insane, im no pro at all...but im pretty sure you'd get used to it really easily

yea i already picked one up and i love it, its not an 09 though, its an 03. we re-built everything in the motor. runs awesome and pulls hard.

At the time this was filmed and on the TV programme, the bike had just been released and most of the ones in New Zealand were devoted to the Honda Racing Team for the 2008 Demon Energy National Motocross Champs. I'm sure there's more in the country now though!
