Very nice performance. But I hate video directors who don't bother to look at the score. This director always cuts about 6-10 seconds late. For example, when the soloist starts a solo passage, we hover on the bass doing nothing while the director tries to figure out where to switch next. Oh, well ...

Os últimos comentários me fizeram pensar: por que o Lang Lang é criticado que faz careta? A Argerich é chamada de estranha? Outros dizem que o João Carlos Martins não sabe reger. Essa coisa da vaidade e comparação acontece em muitos locais, mas por que entre os músicos é tão evidente? Por que crescer pisando? É raro ver músicos que vão a concertos para desfrutar... vejo que vão para achar "erros", "desacertos" e só olha para aquilo. Será insegurança?

Well, I'm not supposed to be a professional pianist. Alvaro Siviero is, but he totally mangled this concerto. Not just the interpretation, but the actual notes--the pianists who came in and accompanied my high school choir are more accurate than that.
