Sickly clean for a 94. I had one. Bad body shape but upgraded my sl to vr4s power. Was runnin around 305hp withought turbos. Cost around 3400 to get it there. Some bitch totaled it. Now have a 95 all stock but lowered. Really relize how many hondas you can fit in your wheel gap haha. And rislone engine cleaner. 6 bucks buy it and through it in ya crank. Engine shuts up

@Stonedraiderx3 3000gt is a v6.. they are also hard to find in good condition. i dont know too much about these cars but i wouldnt recommend getting this car specifically to save on gas haha. get a 4 cylinder if you want to save on gas. del sol is a 4... i dont like them but im sure it would be better on gas than a 3000gt.

My 95 base model all stock 3000gt with 140,000 miles will dust this time. Using only 1st and 2nd gears of the 5 spd manual it's time for 0-60 is 5.5 seconds. Got it on ebay for $1,200.

@JonnyZywiciel from 91- 98 they made the 3000gt and you could get the 222hp sl or the 300-320 hp vr4(depending on year) the mustang for those years had from 205 hp to 220 hp. The low level ls would outperform the mustang and the vr4 would out right kill it. I own a 95 stealth r/t tt which is a lighter twin to the vr4 and it spanks the fuck outta my buddies 98 cobra. Those cars were ahead of their time and no model mustang in that time period stood a chance.

i had a 92 stealth es, and a 96 mustang gt. the gt would beat it off the line, but from a roll, the 3kgt/stealth would more than likely beat it. they do well in the higher rpm, and the mustang is more low end torque.

@Anmishdruid You dont wanna turn your sl into awd but you should do the twin turbo upgrade tho. the vr4 is a tank at 3800 lbs and ur sl weighs about 3100. keep it fwd if you really want perfomance and you can upgrade to a tt for about 1500 if you search ebay and stuff for the right parts. they dont make a kit so you have to do some research on the parts you need. Only get parts of a 94-99 vr4 snice you have a 95 ls cuz the first generation parts wont work

Lol. Well I did have a GTO and I do have an Evo - they are cars I've always wanted to have, but not my absolute dream car (a Mustang and/or Lambo would be) - so if I was lieing I would lie and say I had something like that.

And it's not hard to get that - my GTO cost me around 6 grand, 3 of which I saved before I was 15 (ok.. not many people will believe me there) and after I was 15 I earned $150 a week and saved most of that for the rest.
