It's hard to explain the fix, sorry about that. look at an electronics store if they sell a cable that can plug the red and white audio cables into the cable, and the output being a stereo audio jack.

If your talking about game chat/party chat, then no. If you were to set your Xbox voice settings to play through TV and Headset, then you can here other people in the or in your party. If you want to do a live commentary, then grab a mic and set the input audio settings for your mic instead of the easycaps audio.

You actually don't need all that mess. Just get a Game Capture HD. Its around $140 but it works and is easy to use. Connects to your tv and console and that's it. Its only AVI but you can just convert it after you're done recording. Easy Cap's are junk and not worth it.
