  • I want to see more of this! I would love to see the cheery picker work. Very cool!

  • @badmoonryzn It's not a cherry picker, it's a grab.

  • @RandyDarkshade2 Well now, we call them cherry pickers over here in the states. I used one for enough years to remember what it was called. lol We used them on our self loader log trucks to load and unload the logs. But you go right ahead and grab all ya want with one. That makes as much since as cherry picker. I have never seen one used to pick cherries so i do not know where the name came from. It seems as if picking cherries would be kind of hard with one of the things.

  • @badmoonryzn Oooooh, well I just learned something new. I know a cherry picker as one of those things that have a basket on the end of a big boom that workmen use to get to high places.

  • @RandyDarkshade2 I have heard them called a cheery picker too, but I have never seen anyone use one to pick cherries. We use to have cheery pickers here in Oregon, but they always used tall ladders. I can tell you one thing, you would never find me up on top of a 35 foot ladder. I can tell you they are tricky things to operate at first because of the way the grapples are hinged and you are trying to pick something 30 feet away, but after a few days of sweating, you get it.

  • wow
