hey im in Canada too and i was wondering where you purchased your knives from, because it is hard to find many places with good quality, well priced knives.

@north49gear When I buy knives, I usually shop at Le Baron, S&R Knives, or Bushcraft Canada. Le Baron and S&R are accessible locally for me (Toronto, Ontario) and while Bushcraft is located in BC, they offer free shipping on Canadian orders over $75.

Yeah I got up to that part. Sorry, couldn't watch it all, busy. And I typed the comment quick. I have an the tanto aegis. I want to get the regular blade aegis you have too. There was some side to side play on my tanto, but they fixed it. Long story, I tightened it too much and sent it in. But so far I haven't had the problem you had. Only problem I have is I've babied it too much lol. I'm starting to use it as my edc though. Good Luck.

cool vid man both great choices i was wondering if u have taken the aegis apart and fixed the spring? i took my aegis apart cuz i left it out n the rain and sure enough the aus8 had some rust so i broke it down to duracoat the blade and am having a hard time getting it back together thanks-BDB

@BDBakaJR I took apart the scales and found the assist spring broken, there isn't all that much I can do on my own.

@jlunit416 i found a vid from cutlrylover that helped alot it wasent the aegis it was another sog but the internals were exactly the same just thought id let u kno incase u decide to fix it ur self it wouldnt be that hard thanks -BDB

that spring breaking problem has happen to me, but on my trident tanto...now i believe is a normal(?) thing to happen :S and unfortunually like you i dont live in the USA so i never sent mine for guaranty service
