  • You need an ultra super PC to render this!

  • @Russenboss Lol, of course!, just look at games like Crysis 2, and The Witcher 2; i mean, did you ever imagine 10 years ago that we would be able to play games in real-time with such an awesome graphical detail?

  • Advise: if you want the best quality don't limit yourself with a 3D program render, import everything into After Effects or Sony Vegas and make the edition look as fking good as the graphical detail :p

  • was avatar environments made on vue ???

  • AWESOME

  • hello everyone, I'm just a film enthusiast who fell in love with the visuals relating to vue seven and would like to know a little more about the program. What kind of worlds can I create with this program?

  • hello everyone, I'm just a film enthusiast who fell in love with the visuals relating to vue seven and would like to know a little more about the program. What kind of worlds can I create with this program?

  • Awesome effects!! oh and the music was amazing

  • you can break into the movie industry with this software...

  • I am eager to get a 2 mins movie done on HOME BASED INTERNET BUSINESS. Can I get your help please? My id is kolirana in gmail

  • Hey your 3D videos are amazing!!

I'm going to make a movie, It's an adventure-fantasy movie And I'd need 3D natural background landscapes.

Are you willing to make some landscapes for my movie?

If you're interested contact me on youtube or: Fanclubboy@hotmail.it.

    Regards

  • Can't wait to play a multiplayer game with an infinite world and graphics like these generated on the fly.

  • woooooooooooooooooow

  • @Russenboss hmm, only difference will be that we could not afford that hardware :)

  • @TheKjex Everything gets cheaper in step with demand.

  • Yall Should Try Vue 9 Pioneer And Infinte... Its amazing, Im working on Sci-Fi Machines Right Now... Its Amazing!!! Check My Page For My First Vue 9 Slide Show!!! Its Great!

  • water and waves are awesome

  • 3.20 LOOKS SO REALISTIC!!!!!!!

  • @Russenboss u don't have to be a genius to know that -_-u its pretty obvius just watch IRAY real time renderer for max...

  • And I thought Vue 6 looked good! Nice video!

  • @Russenboss maybe, but us wont be able to afford that hardware, except if they make GPU renderers, because GPU parallel computing is unquestionable in comparison to CPU

  • I love it soooooooooooooooo much. Thk 4 show.

  • its Really BOOM Sick..

    Amazing ShowReel !

    ACADEMIX 2010

  • One of the best Youtube videos ever.

    Bravo!

  • Woah.

  • me gusto amigo te felicito te saludo de peru

  • ото графа клас!!!!!!!!!

  • ото графа клас!!!!!!!!!

  • I need help in these areas please can some one refer me to a website of give me a link of a tutorial thanks

    - Material on terrain (turns out like crap for me)

    - When I import a model and render it its not very good

    - Animation

  • i n c r e i b l e !!!!!!!!!

he quedado con mi mandíbula totalmente suelta!!!

  • i n c r e i b l e !!!!!!!!!

  • where can i download the music ??

  • @blacksh4dow972 Stop complicating yourself and just record it directly from this vid..

  • amazing but requires a super computer , my PC is 8gb ram 4 core 1gb graphic card

n cant handle 2 trees from this engine it keeps crashing the moment i hit render

  • @ArchHamza My Pc is 3GB ram and 1.25 graphic card and it can handle it vry good as clean as this video

  • @WhiSkeY808TriXteR odd

you are using it with max ? or as a stand alone ?

for me as a stand alone it works but takes lots of time to render , way more than max anyway .

in max the system keeps crashing when handling lighting and clouds and trees from vue , bugs me

  • aahah ist a intel x3100 i can run this program?AHAHAHAHA

  • can i not do this in photshop or nuke or after effects?

  • wow...vue rocks!!!

  • Very Nice!!

  • wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • Probably in the future, weekly homework tasks will look like this

  • What the heck do you use to render this kind of stuff that does not take weeks?

  • Orgasmically epic.

  • Ok when I try to download Vue 8 from E-On I get error code 0 what is that and do you know how to fix it?

  • i like the song whats it called?

  • one thing still can t beat is the sea foam, even in max not able to do realistc sea foam any ideas?

  • @TheGoldenDragon77 check out my vid...old video haven't updated yet but i made an ocean and sunset animation at its lowest possible quality in vue just to check what you can do in vue even without so much knowledge about cgi and using old computers

  • vue does render on its own ?

I wonder if it supports any 3ds max animations that i would like to import into Vue caz it seems to handle multiple objects better.

  • @ADPDirty yes it can import animated objects made out from max

  • takes a century to render though!

  • @multimediahelp1 check out your settings and polygon counts

  • @multimediahelp1 for me nothing goes beyond minutes

  • I would say thats the best underwater i've seen...

  • wow, it looks so real :O i'm so gonna get this :D

  • shit dude, we will blow up this planet before you see any cool tech.

  • tis program is sooooooooooooooooo realistic

  • Can somebody explain DOF in vue?

    I realy don't understand it

  • it's some sort of focus on a particular object...

  • @mokiesptc I know but I mean how I can focus?!

  • Vue is like Chess, simple to learn, but there's a depth to it that takes years to master. The argument over which is better is moot, which is why most companies that do film graphics combine several programs for the final result.

It's interesting that people assume that stuff that is difficult to learn must therefore be better, Fortran is harder than C imo, but that doesn't mean it makes 'better' software.

  • o.0 said everything :D

  • haa.. ezdrummer was used as the drumkit in the song.. yes i am also a music nerd :P

  • I think this program its just only make a vast scenarios...buts its awesome

  • @sweeper

Yes i know u can use some unposed D..... Stuff.

Then let us render the Pictures with included Renderer and Light Capabilities(without Render Plugins like Vray and so on)

So then let us look your Picture and mine ok ? No Problem you can show your Picture Month later if you have created one realistic Tree !

I say u cant Vue to compare with Max or Maya !

    Greetings

  • noob. -_-'

  • Sure that can be the only Answer that u can give ! ROFL

  • i'm done with you troll there is there nothing i can say i haven't said already, your obviously just not skilled enough to use max, it can more frustrating for beginners and time consuming but everything i make in it is 100%,, you can never say that with vue. not to mention the better texturing programming it lets you do, and in my opinion renders better then vue too. i don't mind vue, just don't compare it to max3d, or maya.

  • Its insane what computers now can do!

Must of took a lot of time to make every detail out.

  • a lot of shots in pirates of the caribbean were matte painted and projected back on geo, in combination with vue vegetation it came out awesome,a lot of this stuff that you see in this presentation went through fair amount of compositing. i think its a great program for matte painters, i cant imagine doing jungle shots just in maya its gonna be such a cluster %#$& even if you project trees back on planes its gonna look lame and with those crazy camera moves! pfff forget it. vue is the way to go!

  • @gs9097 maya and 3ds max without plugins and experienced tutors are no way near vue

  • its pretty possible to make it look the same without plugins in maya too. it just takes a lot longer. maya has pretty much everything you need to make a shot believable with no additional plugins. vue is good for generic vegetation.

  • @gs9097 i know...the same thing for max...that's why they teach vue and rhino in schools bec. these programs are a lot easier but powerful enough that can fit to limited time in school...teaching and learning max and maya in school will take time which is not practical.. i know a lot of 3ds max user with years of experience and yet a month self taught vue user can match their works

  • do u mind if i take a small part of this video and put it as part of my presentation =.=" ?

  • i love it :) 5* *add you fav* =)

  • Interesting, great detail when the UFO went over the trees and they all blew every which direction all most down robthevindividial leaf if not. Not too clear on what exactly this is but I like it!

  • wow cool i always thought that you could only export your file to jpg. :-s It's damn pricey :-(

  • Can u make games with this?

  • YOU cant, other people may be able to combine the textures into a game scene, Gameplay.. probably not,

  • Not that i'm aware of, the graphics would be awesome, but it would take ages to render a frame at this graphic quality. This is what they use for the movie transformers etc

  • nno, vue is more of a beginner program, it's still good but no marketablility for it. transformers was likely done using a highly modified version of 3dmax or maja, but i got started on vue, if it wasn't for vue's free trial i wouldn't have a clue what i'm talking about.

  • Maya* :)

  • actually vue is not a beginner program, a lot of scenes in pirates of the caribbean were done with it, including scenery of a lot of the islands you see in the films

  • not by itself, vue is set up for a lot of beginners. in fact vanvouver film school has started using view to start their students on cause it's just a much simpler program, i started on view and i wasn't even in school, it's a great program for beginners, but max3d and maya are just higher level programs.

  • @sweeper27 not neccesarily if u watch their showreel for vue 8 movies that used this were: pirates of the carribean 2, kung fu panda, indiana jones 4, beverly hills chuhahua and more! :p

  • my point is just that vue is a more basic program. it's great and it has many applications but it has it's limits, where max or maya keep improving.

  • @sweeper: i think the point is Vue is by the Way a Landscapegenerator and not a 3D Editor ! The Point is, you need much Plugins for Max or Maya to create Trees,Plants, Grasses,POPULATIONS, Fractals, Clouds like this in Vue. The Point is u can all this create in a short Time without 3d editing in Vue.

Sorry but i dont need a "PathDeformer" in a Landscape Editor. And why i can combine Vue and Max with Xstream ?

Precisely because Vue can create phantastic Natural Environment.

  • @sweeper

For Beginners ? Pffffffftttttt : )). Sorry but the Possibilities with included NodeNetwork are near endless and sure not only for Beginners !

So let us create a Picture of a simple Nature Scene maybe with some Girls and Boys inside(without PLUGINS) ? Oh sorry i forgott Max CANT import for example Poser Stuff without Plugins.

Yes u can try import this with the included obj importer rofl. But what u get is not the same like in Vue !

  • Un-be-lieve-ab-le. Smells like future.

  • what you call the future, we call the present. so.. you see, you are way behind :D

  • this will probably rape todays pc's apart and i don't want that to happen

  • i drooled so much when watching this :O

  • eww.....

  • lol someone rated everybody down

  • so what exactly is vue??

  • It's a piece of software for creating pictures, videos(and exportable scenes?)

What your seeing would have taken a shit load of time to render, but then again my pc is shit :P

  • lol nice. well im sure that in 10 years this will be considered game quality ;)

  • More like 2 ;P

  • Id like a quick tutorial on how to make custom .fnc files to aid with custom eco-systems.

Just like with the example file. I cant find anything anywhere.

    Anyone have any ideas?

  • Yeah I wanted to know da same thing about da huge army..

  • Could somebody please tell me how to create a huge army (in vue) like in this presentation? but i mean, if it's possible with ecosystem instances or i don't know, with proxies maybe!? i think it's almost impossible to do this with real objects(models).

  • so realistic!

  • Yes if you buy the full product...if you go modules, you don´t get the content :(

  • at 2:51 there were planes. Where can I download them? Or how I can add them on vue?

  • cornucopia but vue has huge library that comes with it when you buy

  • I have just bought the esprit version.... I am more than happy with it....

    But rendering time is slow...

However if you want quality...this is it

  • We all know it's slow =] I think that's because we're buying GTX275 for 250$, and pro's QuadroFX 5800 for over 3.000$ ^^,

  • This is exceptionally outstanding! Im really fascinated with this presentation.

  • I'm happy I'm young, cause ill see how the technology marches forward at it's quickest pace in history.

  • @LikeFuriousFire well, cell stems will rejuvenate everyone beggining in just ten or twenty years ahead so sorry ... you wont be alone enjoyining technology ^_^

  • @LikeFuriousFire well, stem cells therapy will rejuvenate everyone beggining in just ten or twenty years ahead so sorry ... you wont be alone enjoyining technology ^_^

  • @raterito I hope so! ^_^

  • good for you we hope you live long to see and enjoy technology

  • @quakebox I wish the same for you, quakebox-san. ^^

  • @LikeFuriousFire you could get hit by a bus tommorow... that means your dad who is 45 will see more than you hehe ;)

  • Comment removed

  • @LikeFuriousFire why this looks fake like 3d modles and shit

  • Comment removed

  • @LikeFuriousFire No that's fate...

  • @LikeFuriousFire Careful what you wish for, as it marches ever faster forward you better be ready or you’ll be thrown under its treads. Heh heh heh

  • i bet u need a shit load of ram and alot of graphics memory

  • Graphics memory is irrelevant, the ray tracing depends highly on CPU strength / speed, Main bus speed, and RAM speed.

  • that was so freaking awesome I REALLY want this now.

  • but now that Ive seen the price its not happening

  • search for vue 7 pioneer on e-onsoftware . com

    thats free

  • yes I did download it and I liked it but it is extreemly limited compared to the paid versions plus there is the whole vue 7 logo in the corner but I dont mind that as the program is free and is verry good and also when I renderd the textures didnt look as good as in the video but I want to import content and animations from Daz studio but I need a paid version for that and I dont know if it can import animations from Daz studio or not But one day I will save up and buy it.

  • oops I commented on my other account ^^;

  • I'm skipping the shader4.0 generation and will wait better graphics and quality cuz I'm disappointed of the new cards and new games. We should better wait for more realistic things like this .

  • This has nothing to do with shaders and real time rendering. On the average computer some of those scenes would render at a whopping 1 to 2 frames per hour.

  • this stuff is insane!

  • I can't wait for the time when computers will be able to process this in real-time, in full definition , with all the advanced rendering. I feel we are really close to that, probably a few years.

  • A few years? More like 50-100 years.

  • If the technology keeps advancing at the same pace it goes right now, what I said in my comment before could be done in a maximum of 10 years.

  • what is the track plz

  • boner-inspiring

  • NICE COMMENT LMFAO!

  • Wow that is fantastic, I'm looking for the VUE 7 Demo with a jet plane?

  • great music, whats is...?

  • would I be able to transfer the animation I make onto a blue screen, if yes, I totally need this

  • Obviously.

Let me warn you. Even with an i7 to render like a 10 second animation is gonna take you like a day.

  • yeah i remember only one frame of my animation took an hour to render. I so need a render farm.

  • I think the music and editing enhance the sell of this product. This type of CG looked great back when Myst was new, but it still looks the same IMO.

With technology having changed, can't these landscapes be done with better quality and as efficiently by using ZBrush with a professional 3D app?

I can spot Poser, Vue and Bryce 3D a mile away.

  • I look at this and I see a lot of computer cpu`s breeding for night & days ... but for the right project, with the right buget a good choice of software =)

  • dont forget create an render farm with other fast computers.(if you have) then you are able to render this kind of animation projects.

  • waooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • well i have this program and it's great even though it's pretty difficult until you learn how it works...i dk what are you telling guyz but i have 8800 GeForce with a Dual Core 1.6 Ghz 1gb ram and goes like crazy...it'a aswome!

  • can't believe this shit is happening! ahahahahahaha

  • A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

I'm going to buy this program and give it a bash.

    This video won me over.

  • mind the rendertime tho! its huge... but well worth it!!!

  • yes guys you are right !!! Vue 7 rocks !!!!! it's really pretty fast !!! i dont know what kind of technology they use to handle so much polygons and objects without crash !!!! the only problem is that.....it dont work with Final render or Vray !!!!

  • lol last 3D tools and softwares need a holy computer investment !!!

i think that computers dont fit this kind of job so we need "supercomputers" from now on !!!!

if you guys work with Vue 7 in a quad core and wait days of render for a 10 sec animation instead of a "jaguar supercomputer" so ... you're aaaaalll stupid !!

  • Well, this Vue software works VERY AWESOME FAST even on some old PCs

  • I run it great with a dual-core 3ghz, 2gb of ram and a 8800gt which is pretty old

  • it runs great with my quad core, and with a render cow on my other dual core. you basically just need two computers. or a lot of patients. vue rocks

  • does anyone now if directx 10 speed up the rendering time?

    this is so fantastic.

  • no it doesnt change anything, to speed render you juste need better processor

  • you must be kidding me!!! this is insane

  • It's really VUE all of it, but you need a beast of a machine and a good little render farm to render out VUE like this. Else it takes days to render. I know, and I'm on an 8 core Intel Mac. :~)

  • 8 cores?!!! shit man I only have 2 lol.

  • vue 6 and vue 7 are really impressive tools, i love them and i dont wanna miss them

but the only thing is: on my pc it would take weeks to render such a film... :D

i think they made this video with 3 or 4 quadcore pc with renderbull network rendering in a few days

  • I can't even render animations because it'll take days :X

  • I bet they just took some videos with a real camera and made this advert :O. How is animation this good :DD

  • dude, you really need to do some homework, I just downloaded these scene files used in this very trailer, you'll find them for sale over at Vue Cornucopia. They are for picking apart so you can know VUE better.

  • What? You know I was joking right?..

  • 3:00-3:20 looks a 100% like reality!

and everything else looks almost exactly like in real life..

computer graphics have come a far way!

  • Yes Vue is a really good software but it tooks soo long to render! sometimes it is about 20 hours for a little animation

  • That's why you should have a kick-ass processor. :D

  • I have

    3,2 Ghz

    4 Gb ram

    500 gb

    512 graphics board

I can play assassins creed & crysis in max detail and 1920 x 1200 with very high fps... that´s not the problem you see

  • Ah, I see... hmm, I guess the more you demand from the software; the longer it shall take obviously.

    Mine runs incredibly fast though.

    I have 8GB RAM, 3.2GHz Quad Core processor, 768MB 8800 GTX, 2x 1TB HDD.

That is why I have concluded it's all reliant on the processor more than anything else; because I ran it on my friend machine who has a dual core, and literally; it was twice as slow! lol

  • 8gb is on xp and vista is on shit xp exercises max 3gb and vista exercises max 6gb :D luuzer :D and rendering is long because have for ex. 6 000 000 poligons( ice mountains + 5 lime strees + water and volumetric clouds) or more or less

  • In fact the Soft is the best that I never seen.

But to render is another challenge !

I suggest to all of you before buying this nice software insure before to have your own renderfarm in home. (recommanded min 5x 8cores + 8gb Ram + gigabite ethernet adapter)

  • Gigabite ethernet adaptor.. Like for internet.. for animation...

  • is this a standalone program or does it work like a plugin for example 3d max?

  • Works both as a standalone program and as a plugin for 3D Max!

    This software is amazing!

I am in love with it, tried the trial version and is amazing!

I just wished I could have had a computer monster to render everything faster!

  • *I had...
