  • nice : )

  • is the micro korg a good synth as well as the vocoder? i might get one if its nice

  • meemightymouse-

    so cool

  • Question, so when you want to play a song, do you have to learn how to play the song on the piano to do this? Might sound stupid, but I don't own one yet. Don't judge lOl

  • @beatriceduran i wont judge at all! =D and yes, i had to learn how to play the song on the piano so that when i sing, the words are on the right notes. =D lotta places online show you the notes for hooks/choruses. as long as u can play simple chords, u should be fine. good luck and enjoy!

  • I love her. I think she's the future of pop music and an inspiration to a lot of people including me. ;D - Naked Lady Gaga. C000M - -

  • @Goldarina6124 if u like Gaga, maybe you like Natalia Kills... im really enjoyin her. =D

  • You should invest ina a MIDI Interface, then you can record the microkorg to garageband, and then you can also use MIDI control, which makes a microkorg worth buying.

  • OK. I have a mac and the microkorg, and i think i have the right cable, i am just not sure what to do next haha, could you please tell me where the cables go etc. Thanks.

  • what do you set garageband to for it to recognize the audio in///??? what type of track do i use???

  • Are the beats playing internal from the synth or from an external source? interesting sounds of the vocoda.

  • good job :)

  • still like talkbox more

  • the sample IS used on great dj

  • One sample reminds me of Great Dj by the Ting Tings....

  • keep having fun !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • yea it does sound like a crystal castle vocoder

  • Cool :)

  • That is really cool! Reminds me of Crystal castles, minimalist. Very cool use of the vocoder

  • i like this version more than the original

  • too cute.

  • ;D damn nice

  • What is the cable and adapter you use? I've never hooked up my ipod to my microkorg.

  • get the adapter for a 1/4 jack i think its called that will adapt to the size of a the input for the ipod... like say u want an adapter for like a guitar amp plug to fit into ur ipod, i dont kno the exact terms.. but thats what i did..

  • this is cool im getting one for christmas haha. so this has a cord that you can plug into your computer? i mean does it come with one or do you have to buy it seperately?

  • u have to buy the cord and adapter separately.

  • @meemightymouse where can you get the adapter, and how much is it?

  • @grulezd00d you can get the adapter from any guitar or audio store. it should be less than 5 bucks.. i actually just got mine from my dad. he just had one laying around. hehe

  • @meemightymouse Thanks! :D

  • wow you're great :)

  • Could you tell me how to get my microkorg hooked up to my macbook?

  • you know the part in the video where she explains how to do it? (the part where the calls herself a dumbass) - that's the part you wanna take a look at again.

  • Your macbook and microkorg are like peanut butter and jelly? Man, they must really not go together then!

  • never had a pb&j sandwhich? lol peanut butter and jam/jelly? its like the best... where are u from?

  • Hah, was just joking with you. Im from the UK and we dont have that here... Although most people here have probably tried it at least once cause its in all the US movies :)

  • It is that mic that is to blame. You need a better mic for the vocoder.

  • I like the backround trak you made, but the vocoder doesn't sound great for the lead vocals. nice job anyway!

  • aww yes i agree, after hearin this in my car i really didnt like the vocoder much for vocals, i think its better just as hook or background vocals. thanks for tip =D

  • haha your good :D

getting my microKorg in less then a month(:

  • so did you create the beat using garageband?

  • hey darling was wondering if you could help me, ive just bought the microkorg and im soon gettin a mac, how exactly did you hook it up?

  • Did you get a response on how to hook it up?

  • Hey... How about speak up?

  • is it a loop from logic or garage band isn't it?

    keep playing bella

    ciao really good

  • the beats are a loop. but the synth sounds are me off of my korg. =D

  • hey lady did u used a midi interface to connect your microkorg to your mac? This video rocks! Congrats!

  • nope, no midi interface. i wish i knew how though! i just used an audio input jack from korg to mac then i would just record myself playing on the synth. =D

  • this is so amazing i wish i could play like this

  • i like it girl, greating from holland

  • Cool..! Drums sound really tight , I don't normally like software and I know it's difficult to get the microkorgs vocoder to sound decent so good job!

  • what cable and adapter do you use to connect your ipod to your korg?

  • 3,5mm to 3,5mm audio cable

  • hey, what cable is it that you use to connect the microkorg to your macbook? im looking for a cable that can play the microkorg through the macbook speakers, as well as to record in garageband etc.! I have a MIDI cable but it obviously doesnt carry true audio! Thanks!

  • an audio cable. your macbook probably has a microphone-in, yeah? so you plug in an audio cable into the microkorg's headphone-out and connect it (you may need an adaptor from big to small, very cheap) so you can record.

  • nice try, it sounds pretty good, you just need a talkbox, it would sound alot better!! but still good none the less.

  • oh yeh, talk boxx would definitely sound better, but i just do this just for fun, if i in the future ive got cash to blow, then ull see me with a talk boxx haha

  • nice nice

  • That's awesome! I want one now!

  • pretty sick
