great cover, although i don't think the improv was much in the style of jimi, although it had it parts.

@atreyustripes the improv is just blues soloing and the licks i used are pretty hendrix esque, as is the feedback manipulation at the end. thanks for the compliment though.

is it on the clen channel of you r ampp?

@dnnysrock yes it is on the clean channel, but with the preamp volume/gain cranked all the way to give it a light boost.

the tone on that is awesome, my only suggestion would be to turn down the gain just slightly

@unchainedshadows Yeah, it was a bit heavy, but it was hard to get the tone just right so you could hear both the backing track and my guitar, while still giving me the ability to manipulate feedback, but thanks for the compliment.
