So when the combo meter is greyed out like that, it's not a real combo, and somewhere along the way, your opponent can recover out of it.

And I'm pretty damn sure something as simple as that isn't a combo.

THat's not an infinite. It can be tech'd after the first hit. The combo meter is dark. Set the training dummy to tech if its possible.
