  • That's funny! It was filmed here, at CFB Cold Lake, during a Maple Flag exercise. You can recognize Hangar 6, where the Jokers live (417 SAR Sqn), and the Type school in the background when they start the engine!!!

  • @stevethepilot Yeah.. not sure if that would make it onto the side of a jet in the AF.

  • What exactly is a low power turn?

  • @doxparadise a low power turn is a engine start up for basic trouble shooting, or just function testing,,,,, high power turns require more safety measure, where they run the engines to FULL MILITARY POWER and things can get dangerious.... i hope this helps

  • @woodsdrifter

So what you saying is, just running up to 10% power?

  • I forgot something...

Thanks for this. It seems like I've done a million low-powers. :)

  • AT2 when we stood up the Rooks again. Was frocked late to AT1 in Puerto Rico after they flubbed adding a NAM to my advancement results hehe. I had to leave the Navy when I was w/c 210 LPO in '99. I wonder if there's anyone there who knew me. I'm still on The Rock!
