  • My Grandmother used to share a bit of tea and buttered toast with Polly, her Double Yellow Headed Amazon. She loved it. She came to live with me after her death. Strange thing; when my Mother died I took charge of her blue and white Budgie, "Skye". It seems that when any female relative dies, I 'get the bird'. I hope the next one doesn't leave me a Flamingo...

  • Lol .. My lovebird eats anything we eat . I mean lettuce , cucumbers , tomatos , apple , peppers , bread , rice , milk , cereals , cabbage , cheese and even meat! Lol ..

  • @TheIrinucka peppers are ok aslong as there not hot and you odnt feed them the seeds but milk and cheese is a huge no no to feed to lovebirds! it can kill them so please stop feeding your lovebird milk and cheese.

  • @VampireRuki oohh okay then .. thx

  • cute

  • my bird loves tea and coffee and goes nuts when my dad gets tim hortons every day. He knows the time hortons bag has a muffin it and he sits on top of the coffee cup lol. He doesn't get any coffee and sometimes only a tiny taste of decafinated tea.

  • t and coffee is not good for bird

  • aw that is so cute!!!!!

  • They are sooo smart! He looks just like my lovebirdie! He loves to drink from my cup as well hehe...

  • What a civilized little fellow.

  • what it drinks tea i wish i had that bird

  • Beautiful bird :)

  • Woah cool@

  • ha thats awsome!

  • My lovebird does exactly the same. The problem is that sometimes she tries to drink your tea while you are drinking too. :D

  • hej, polaku...ja też mam nierozłączkę. Twoja fajna...pozdrawiam....

  • hehe cute :P

  • AWW MY PAROT LOVES TEA 2...

  • I really hope that's not real tea. Caffeine is deadly to birds.

  • could be decaf?

  • Even decaf is dangerous b/c just that small amount of decaf is still a lot for such a small animal.

  • decaf tea doesn't have any caffeine. so how is it harmful?

  • Yes, it does. Like 99% caffeine free.

  • well the tea i drink doesn't have any caffeine in it. i doubt they would lie about it on the box... due to health concerns.

anyway, i don't have any birds... and if i do get any, they won't be drinking tea.

  • The bird is 12 years old! Must be some good tea he's drinking :)

  • @captmicha some types of tea are acceptable, and recommended for birds. Decaf teas obviously, but maybe that's what this cutie is drinking up.

  • lol very funny
