All the other guy does is sit and thats it. Bear shows you how to improvise with a stick and a knife, Stroud tells you to sit and wait and do nothing. Les already has a tent and food, Bear shows you things that are edible and shows how to make a tent with leaves and twigs. I prefer Bear.

Bear has a camera crew and he makes everything sound so fake. Les MAKES a tent out of crap he finds. I don't understand why people are bothered by the fact this is in a controlled environment. TV shows are always filmed in controlled places. If an elevator realy plunged you think Bear would make an effort to film it ? NO! He'd be outta there in no time. You think he and his crew are gonna wait around to get physically attacked ? NO! These are just some useful tips. Survival is about 90 % preparation and the right mind set. If this prevents people from panicking it is already saving lives.

god i hate bear. did you know on man vs. wild, he shows up as a "demonstrator"? the survival expert has a totally different name. it even says "in some situations, scenarios are presented to bear so he can demonstrate" theres even videos where people find places of his recordings, and its no further than like 100 yards from a freeway. watch survivorman.
