WINDOWS ITS UNSAFE always many viruses are being installed by stupid mistakes and you need to pay for everything .start using linux my friend is 100% safe no virus no malware . llinux its free just download the UBUNTU version on your desktop burn the iso file in cd then install the linux version called UBUNTU

I just became infected by Rogue or a newer variant. I run a clean system, I don't use torrents or P2P sharing and I keep everything clean & updated. I'm running AVG, but it didn't catch it or any unusual activity. Windows defender detected it & deleted one file, but did not actually remove all of it. I used Malwarebytes', the quick scan found 8 entries, after restarting my computer to complete removal I ran the full scan and it located one more. My system is now clean! Malwarebytes' FTW!!!

Good vid, man. But this doesn't ALWAYS work. I found another tutorial where you go on My Computer, find the file and rename it. Restart you're computer and... Wha-la! Also, go to Add or Remove programs, when you restart it, remove it and empty your Recycle Bin. Just to make sure that the little bugger is gone. I just fixed my computer that way today.

malwarebytes works good SOMETIMES..but it doesn't find EVERY rogue Virus!! If any of you get a rogue virus, I know how to remove them. They are a bitch but I can remove them for you. AntiMalwarebytes doesn't remove every instance you get on your PC. I have other ways of getting rid of these rogue viruses. I do it everday for my customers!

On a properly configured computer this can't affect you unless you let it. It always will require your consent.

That said, a good SYSTEM IMAGE and a recent BACKUP of important data is all you need to be back in action usually in under an hour.

Windows 7 has system image tools and backup tools built in. Just apply the image then import the backup. Bam! Like it never happened.

I got hit by something of a similar nature claiming to be a microsoft spyware update and asked me to click register. It was so convincing i did. It went straight for my registry and scrambled my desktop. I found a way of getting back online and found This. The URL referred to gave me a false link so i googled Malwarebytes, followed the steps and the problem was solved. This virus got thro Norton 360 undetected, and a full Norton scan failed to spot it . Thank you very much Mr Harris

There is a new version or twist with this antivirus. When you are surfing , a gray window will pop up saying your comp may be infected. Stay away from that window. Close internet explorer in the upper right or use control,alt.delete.

You should do a full scan, because there's more chance it may pick up other viruses. Quick scan doesn't remove all viruses. Use combofix also, better in safe mode when scanning.

The best time to scan your pc, is as soon as you realize that you got the virus. At this point, you should disconnect from internet, in case the virus rogue updates itself to download more viruses, or in case the virus changes internet browser settings. After scanning once goto safe mode and scan again the whole pc, using all of these:

SUPERAntiSpyware

ComboFix

SmitFraud

Avast

Some detect viruses better than others, so best to use all of them.

Hey Act2scene5 i download the malware and after a bunch of windows pop up and say application error exception EnValidOP in module stp31 TMP.tmp at 7785000D5 invalid floating point operation. it pops up right after it says select language. and also when i press ctrl alt delete it says task manager has been disabled by your adminstartor.And also theres a tool bar that is a red circle with a White x mark that keeps showing a window that says warning! security report. please help me.

Thank you so much for this video. I was so desperate when I searched for "how to cure a rogue virus." It was like I was fighting my computer. My antivirus software was not able to cure it. It found it but I had to contact the company which said it would take up to 6 business days to create a custom cleaner. i used spy hunter,spy bot s&d,malwarebytes ans super antispyware and the main parts of the virus have gone, but the there are traces left goes the computer is a bit slow and i still get diverted on google. can u help?
