I was born in Shanghai and i rememer back in the days in 2001 when i was year 1 i had exams and revised till 12pm. Now i just graduated from high school i don't think i have even studied as hard as year1. LOL i feel sorry for myself x3
i would never send my child away at such a young age especially in china you don't know how they treat the kids off camera. i would never ever trust any chinese education place or anything unless its from hong kong

@Zhijing78 come on... It happens all the time, maybe you just get used to it. For example, if you cannot recite something, the teacher would force you standing for the whole class. And they might beat your hand when you do somethings they think it is wrong...In addition, they call parents all the time due to some trivial things. And meanwhile they seldom blame parents or try to help students when they find out the parent use violence to "educate" kids.
@Zhijing78 What's more, they always tell students what should they do before somebody will visit the school, and the altitude is always tough and serious. Even they don't wanna threat students as this, but it scares students indeed since kids are always fragile.
If this is the China that wants to kill Americans and start world war 3, then unicorns and the spaghetti monster do exist. It's hard to accept that scenario when you see how humble and determined these kids, their parents and mentors are. Far from a nation of war mongering imperialists, they're simply making up for lost time.
@latchbox China has no interest in destroying America as it's already a thing of the past. China owns most of your debt and Americans can't stop buying useless crap made there on credit. These Children study 16 hours a day, what makes you think Americans have anyway to compete when most of them can't even place their country on a map ?
