  • I never thought about it like that. I was just happy he was being remembered but you raise some very good points.

  • Where is the lyrical intelligence today?

  • love your videos <3<3<3<3

  • You are so amazing, you are the next president!!!!!!!

  • get over it...pac would bumped dis junt too...

  • Tell the truth!

  • This is exactly what i was saying. I don't listen to rick ross at all cause this song. No one can compare to Tupac Shakur and that song makes me sick.

  • You spoke nothing but the truth

  • mannnnn ily girl.

  • Pac promoted both negative and positive,u choose2celebrate his deeper black activist side,Meek decided 2 celebrate his "thug life" side, jus because hes not paying homage 2 Pac in the way you wud doesnt make it any less of a tribute, besides pacs mother chose 2 have Meek preform the song @ a event she was holding 4her son,she couldnt of found the song THAT disrespectful towards her sons name and honour.I'm just grateful someone from the new generation still has time 2 pay homage 2 1of the greats.

  • Deep.... I agree

  • Man I love her!

  • I agree with you.. I like the way you think...

  • PRREEEEAAAACH.

  • Im in love with you girl

  • DEEPLY SPOKEN FOR .... THOSE WORDS AVTUALLY TOUCHED ME. NOW I SEE WHY MY FRIEND'S GET MAD AT USING IGNORANCE AS AN EXCUSE.

  • I agree the artistry in the music industry as a whole has taken a turn for the worse, but it shows no where like it does in the hip hop community. No ones worried about selling conscientious music anymore it's all about who can sell the most units and make themselves and there labels the most money. Even %95 of underground artist are rapping about the same nonsense because there goal is to get that deal & sell those units. As for the sustainability of artist of the past and those that have pass

  • There is no artistry ... "who's allowing you to make music" i like when you said that because the people behind the music don't have our best interest in mind or these artists and its all exploitation in my opinion and they put these undeniably good beats behind catchy lyrics...but if you really listen to the songs there harming our community... thank you for posting this.

  • This is why i'm lissening to 'Snapback Back'

  • Deep

  • Fuck new school rappers I only listen to old school cuz when you compare them old school represent the people! People on welfare people with no jobs people struggling and 2 pac represented them. New school rappers represent themselves selfish motherfuckers I got this I got that blah blah blah who gives a shit not all your fans are rich stop representing yourself and rap about what's going on in hoods everywhere reality shit with a dope beat like pac!

  • Jasmine i said the same shit, What the fuck is Rick Ross talking about? Girl Brenda was only 12, what is Ross? a pedophile. That song is a large hefty bag of fuckery. It is just plain ignorance. Keep educating these ppl my dear.

  • DANG SHE MAD, AND I FEEL IT. WATCHING THIS WAS LIKE HAVING A CONVO I WAS RESPONDING TO U AND SAAYING THINGS AT THE SAME TIME AS U, I FEEL IT GIRL REAL HIPHOP IS HEARD BY THOSE WHO LISTEN (U AND I) LOVE U JASMINE :)

  • I love this video so much. I remember saying the same thing when I first heard that stupid song by Rick Ross. The only reason he put Tupac's name on there is cause it would automatically get him some attention. Just putting Tupac's name or some of his song lyrics or song titles into a song doesn't mean you have the right to put his name in the title of your own song.

  • fuckinnnnnn oath

  • most of yall didnt like pac when he was alive so dont dick ride now! jasmineman would probably hate pac if he was living, Pac rapped about selling crack, killing niggaz....

  • @floortick you don't know what she would say about Tupac if he was still alive cause obviously she's already saying something about it now. She also clearly said that she listened to it when she was younger.

  • @psychmichelle I'm Just tired of people always dissing or own rap music. it may not seem that way but these guys work hard on their craft. every artist wont live up to jasmine's standard but she should not try to tear them down.

  • @floortick That is true, some of these rappers do work hard to produce their music and it is heartfelt but there are others, like Waka Flocka that just did it to see how many people would listen to their nonsense. I'm not putting everybody in that category but it seems that now, more so than a decade ago, any former drug dealer or gang banger believes that they can make some music. And most of the youth don't need to hear it, it gives them the wrong idea.

  • @psychmichelle Wocka Flocka Admitted himself that he cant rap His music has its place, I like working out to it. I remember when NWA was out and all the new york rappers was saying thats not real hip hop, people always complain instead of enjoying the music. everything does not have to be deep or have meaning, "its just muuuusic" (In My Tupac voice)

  • @floortick And you're right. So music is just music, I won't argue that.

  • @floortick and thats what happens in inner cities people sell crack and kill eachother, but for the most part he wasnt glorifying it simple ass. Pac also rapped about racism , and other social problems. Pac also opened his doors to poor homeless people so they could have a place to sleep.

  • gurl shut up

  • I totally agree, FUCK THE SONG "TUPAC BACK". Its garbage for all the reasons she said

  • @Laroii23 agreed!

  • how can someone dislike this!?! R u so brainwashed by the system? Come one people look towards bettering ourselves and our people smh...

  • Preach Sista!!

  • She makes me feel good about writing conscious music/poetry. Its about time somebody glorifies intelligence and doesn't perpetuate ignorance

  • believe it

  • ###REALSHIT!!!! I'm so feeling u right now... I found some1 who's on da same page as I'm...#I'MNOTALONE

  • i look up to you soooo much

  • I'm a girl, but would you please marry me? Or be my sister...Should have asked you to be my sister first. CAN WE BE MENTALLY CONNECTED AS ONE?!

  • This is sooo true! They say record sales are down because people aren't buying music anymore but the real is that the music they put out on the radio is TRASH!!!!!!! These artists aren't artists at all, no originality or creativity just a bunch of copycat wannabe's.

  • Thank You.

  • if rick ross or meek mill got a youtube channel imaa find it nd send dis to them...i wonder if they saw dis vid, she spoke the truth. tupac died wen i was 5 nd i know EVERYTHING bout that man that a fan cn kno. nd that song was disrespectful to pac,his fam and all of his work...shalawam sis

  • LOVING THISSS!!! MAIN REASON I DONT LISTEN TO THAT GARBAGE THEY PUT OUT NOW.

  • everything she just had said yo was absolutely true. show some respect for Tupac. if it's not honoring his artistry, then don't make a song PERIOD with his name king. One Love to Jasmine

    Romeo

  • Smh another 2pac freak yes 2pac was the greatest but he had his flaws too he was hypocritical he had plenty of records about bitches hoes clothes crack guns murder and all that shit so be fair

  • U ARE BRILLIANT!!!!! KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DOING FOR THE CONSCIOUS COMMUNITY.

  • Thats Deep, I love you for this lol . . .

  • i love you sooo much right now lol this is the truth fareal though.![=

  • What these dudes don't realize is that Pac was a poet a prophet and a philosopher they follow the negative hype the world put on Pac about "Thug Life" and "Outlaws" but they don't follow why Pac called himself that. Pac was an outlaw because he was hellbent on molding and shaping minds in the only way people would listen to him. Rappers like Waka, Lil Wayne, Gucci, Rick Ross they have no soul they did what Pac would never do and thats rap for the money and not the people

  • Jasmine's deep. This is such a truthful thing to make a video about. I totally agree. Thanks for saying this and looking into this and expressing your opinion and giving us your message. LOVE IT!!!

  • I swear i gott to arguingg with someone awhilee ago, cuz I was speaking on the samee sh.tt .

  • EXACTLY what I was thinking when I heard that song!

  • Deep

She taking everything to heart, its not like that! How about she Make a song for tupac!

  • Comment removed

  • Word!!!!!!!!!

  • She went hard!!!

  • i respect this girl alot and shes right too:) . rick ross and millz dont really care if it dont relate to Tupuc cozz they got money and all that shit. he aint Back!

  • LMAO SHE SAID FUCK THIS SONG

  • Can You See the Pride In the Panther As he grows in splendor and grace Topling obstacles placed in the way, of the progression of his race. Can You See the Pride In the Panther as she nurtures her young all alone The seed must grow regardless of the fact that it is planted in stone. Can You See the Pride In the Panthers as they unify as one. The flower blooms with brilliance, and outshines the rays of the sun. LONG LIVE THE MEMORY OF TUPAC
  • thank You, or echoing and saying what I have long been thinking! Speak on Young Warrior with Words. Old Soldiers salute and pass the torch of wordsmith on to you.

  • b/s 2pac had club song like any other rapper, meek mill got real songs to, people on 2pac dick cus he dead

  • @the24th1 she spoke on that but he wasn't just that dude!!!...stop being such a douche...you can't compare them together!!(and I don't really listen to rap like that)pac mad you feel inspired!period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Chanilau feel what? im not bein a douche im jus speakin the truth cus people pipe 2pac

  • why aren't there more girls like this? I once was listenin to pac with a girl and she was like "turn that shit off and put on some pitbull" I wish a could get to know this girl and I would clap to her like for two minutes, then hug her and then tell her she's the best!

  • i don't normally watch talking that's not comedy but you got me absorbed into this.

  • damn she is soooo deep and passionate, i agree tho yhat song dont represent pac @ all

  • You're so right. You have to wonder why people say they into Tupac when all they really talk about is how hard he was. He was more than that tho. If anything he sought justice and truth which to me is what a real man or a real individual should aspire to be. Yeah they're are others out there who can rap, who spit the truth but there will never be another Tupac and it's a shame how some people will use his name in order to make more money.

  • Your so right. But it's dumb down(get a loud beats behind even louder lyrics then u get a hit)music and it's popular. hip hop is not as good as it once was and it is disappointing I find myself listing to old school music cause makes more sense than my generation music which I find that the artist are more interested in making MONEY than making good music IS SAD

  • I find it also shameful that some of the comments here have diverted to record sales. Peace to you for bringing this subject to light.

  • real talk black queen...

  • girl damn right fuck that song i wish rick ross cud see this video

  • Wow...This sister definitely has the fire of truth in her. You cant buy this kind of light in Target or Wal-Mart- Don't call Sears to see if you can buy it. Tupac called it Thug Passion- Has to come from the baby bottle- From the creator-Thank you for the truth Jasmine...

  • see we all listen to this song and never ever think of how twisted it really it's THANK YOU JASMINE MANS!!!!

  • indeed. i fucks with this!!

  • yo, we need to be homies. this is EXACTLY what ive been trying to tell these people. FINALLY, someone with a mentality identical to mine. I can tell you a die hard Pac fan, as am i....much love and respect. i hope to speak with you concerning other issues in the near future. blessed,

  • whatta smart bitch

  • #Truth!!!

  • Let's not forget Rick Ross is affiliated with Diddy, who Tupac hated.

  • this is real talk

  • omg i thougt i was tha only one thinking like dis... last week i didnt talk 2 a friend of mine for 3 days cause he wouldn't excepted my side of how i feel 2pac is gone. these lil boys keep saying he comimg back no way. they jus can't let go. if he do come back he going to jail an you may can look up his death certificite. i luv pac but he gone ppl can put his voice in songs plus watch his doc. he stayed in the studio. rick ross big ass they let anyone on records. underground N.Y. is me. bad song

  • brillantt..

  • Just Gorgeous

  • AMENZ! I feelz ya..I fuckz with u. I love your poems an when I hear u u make me think of things in a way I never thought about thinkin

  • you are a really deep person and if i could sit down have a conversation with you i would take FULL advantage of it.. keep doin your thing because you're doing a good... GREAT.. MAGNIFICENT JOB! i love you and everything you stand for and all the things that you say!! you make me think about the things that i nomally think about just DEEPER! you are in my prayers that God continues to bless you and keep you strong as you are!

  • YESSSS JAS! "FCUK THIS SONG!" <3

  • yea man i know how you rick ross and that few talking about tupac thats messed up to be honest ^.^ im 10 >_. and ik wat rap is i used to rap in the car to ice cube everyday my mom took my to preschool lol i used to rap to tupac but wat i heard on dis video just now teached me something and that is tupacis the best rapper ever fuck lil wayne fuck rick ross fuck drake fuck dj khaled they think they the best but tupac is all that son...thats all that matters about rapping is ryming tupacwasthebest.

  • i swear I'm feeling her... rappers now rap with no substance

  • We need to protest the record industry, force them to require college degrees or at the bare minimum a high school education before signing. These "entertainers" i refuse to call them artist, do not know what they are talking about and do not understand the damage they are doing to the community and its supporters. Kids hear a hot beat, then they hear about money, all the so called glamour, but they are blinded to the impact.

  • You are impeccable. Ive admired your poetry for so long, its always so moving. Had to say that first. Anyways, thank you for calling these terrible rappers out. I wish more people thought like you and I. I've felt this way about most rappers for a long time now. It makes me so extremely happy to know that I am not alone and surrounded by people who admire Lil Wayne and Rick Ross. The stupidity is sickening. I was starting to truly believe that Tupac was becoming more of a trend than an icon.

  • You stole the words from my mouth. When I heard that track and saw people bumping it, it ashamed me and disgraced Hip-Hop & Pac's legacy. It's sad that these artists listen to Pac, but don't truly hear what he's saying.

  • I know exactly how you feel, Clearly rap is not what it stood for in the beginning. The fact that society's mind accepts the things being rapped about. Society's mind is corrupt. And all the rap music that the black community listens to is just putting ignorance in their minds and mouth. Its not the rappers falut just GOVERNMENTS falut on letting such go on. In any community.

  • omg.....Real deep...some true shyt....Rick Ross clams to be a thug a gangster ect....But we forget...he Rick Ross was a Officer b4 his fame...I thought being a artist is an expressing of self & experiences!

  • Can u rap?Let them eat ,what have pac or any other done u, nothing . Case closed

  • This is so true, theres only a few real artists left like Talib Kweli, Immortal Technique, Jean Grae, Lupe Fiasco, Pharoahe Monch, Little Brother and a few others.

  • Truth ahkoti, truth.

  • Why people pressing dislike? this real talk.

  • SMH...THANK YOU.....THANK YOU....THANK YOU. Believe I hear you these cats nowadays are whack untalented fools.

I am subscribing to you cause NOW I know your real, and I need and want to hear EVERYTHING you have to say cause only real people can see the truth that is Tupac, only real people can see the BS that is todays "rap" industry. Its clear that these rappers like so many did not listen to the what Pac was was saying they could not see beyond the beat. I always say...listen to the lyrics.

  • -*You Have A Good Point, And Unfortunately Alot Of People Of This Generation Doesn't Think Like That. Sadly, They Just Hear A Catchy hook And Think The Some Is Great...

  • this open my eyes even more to tupac

  • you are soo inspirational.Thank you<3

  • Real rap

  • Word.

    Speaking up is rare.

    I appreciate this so much.

    Love.

  • n ross also sayin that he made the song cos the younger generation don't kno who pac is! Pleeeease........ everybody kno who pac is.

  • Pac studied machiavelli not makaveli... but yeah, I agree wit everythin' u sayin :)

  • This Is So True. I Totally Agree Jasmine

  • Your ugly as shit

  • WOW!!! TRUE!!!

  • Agreed

  • How Can I Possibly Meet You??????????? I've Alreadi Brought The Ring. Gotta Love A Brilliant Mind.

  • A rose that grew from concrete...

  • U speak so true THUG luv.

  • im glad that nobody sees this as hating ; and that everyone realizes that she is obviously intelligent enough to share her opinion on what this generation calls " music " it's not good ; nor does it make sense . But we listen . . smh ; she gives me hope in the generation .

  • Tupac needs to come back to assasinate all these coon ass rappers.

If he was back meek mill and officer ricky would be workin at cvs..HIT

    EM UP 2011!

  • So True!

  • Real talk sis!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • i love how she broke this down and explained it. even though pac made gangsta rap he made alottttt of conscious songs and that song "tupac back" really made no sense to me either. smh whether it was gangsta or conscious tht song does not help his memory.

  • U Are a ForCe to be reckoned with Id advise such passion be met with peace Because GOD has a Plan 4 this World <3 so the battle is his but please keep educating our young Brothers and Sisters GOD BLESS YOU

    -ArnStar-

  • This is very true, people should start to wake up and realize that most of the rappers today constanly rap about money, weed, power.ect.. Hardly any influential music

  • I agree those rappers are just £££ rappers with no talent or a strong minded charachter

  • Write a poem about this, Jas! I love this.

  • True shit

  • I thought at first this Tupac Back cat was a joke. It's a fucking disgrace.. Couldn't think of a more whack ass way to disrespect Tupac. Hip hop has flown the fuck out the window, the art only exists now in the underground and in afternoon syphs in back alleys and parks. This is only a phase.. Hip hop will come back in a way that all cultures can embrace it black white yellow whatever, wont matter.

  • @ZombiesRfriendz hip hop aint dead tho..kanye, jayz, j cole, lupe, are still puttin out good music

  • ays.. @Koolakobs Nah. Jay z is a sell out along with all those you listed. Take it back to the 90's. Jay wasnt bad back then when he ws kicking around with BIG L (RIP) but hes sold out now so. Along with mob deep and snoop. Go listen to some true loyal artistic cats who are still keepin it real. Wu-Tang. GZA and RZA do shows lots. along with other members. Cyne is dope too. Bone Thugs still recording as well. Not about the money, it's about art expression and culture. Wish i could say more

  • @ZombiesRfriendz listen to watch the throne and come back to me becuz u dont even listen to jay..or kanye

  • @Koolakobs Yeah I peeped the new album, haha yeah that song aint bad man but a sell outs a sell out, underground is forever mainstream is for the moment remember that those who stay true with dignity wont be left in vain. Still good shit these days though, but it's in the underworld man. Blacks whites hespanics whatever all spitting together. AOTP - Seven

  • Oh yeah and to all you listening to BIG heres a guy to check out, his names RA The Rugged Man. After Biggie heard this guy spit he responded " I thought I was the illest." This dudes white too, not that it matters. Why ya never heard of him? Look him up he never wanted to be mainstream, he avoided it. Smart

  • Food for thought is in need in the music industry. Poison is being vastly distributed, consumed and glorified by too many of us.

  • Everything she puts out is DOPE.. I wish her voice could be heard Everywhere... Unfortunately when you turn on the tv or radio you hear artist like Rick Ross.. Instead I wish we could hear her...

  • I love you for this.. thanks girl. I can't believe I have just watched a tv programme, based on hiphop.. and they placed Tupac 3rd, Jayz 2nd and 50cent 1st. What the hell is this world coming too.

  • @OneandOnlyCee Tupac didnt bow down to the media like jay-z and 50 thats why his 3rd. Tupac was inteligent brave and talented in such away no one can pass him in rap songs if you like thinking about what a rapper is saying.

  • @sf2explus yeah I know, I was just so surprised.

  • @OneandOnlyCee people like jay-z and 50 cent would get out rapped by eminem and nas anyday. but for them to even mention jay-z and 50 cent is being disrespectful, even though jay z and 50 cent a great artists. Tupac is a legend. and when people thing about rap music 200 years later tupacs name will come up by that time no one would even know who jay-z and 50 cent are.

  • @sf2explus yep, I totally agree with you.

  • @sf2explus but Jay z didnt bow down his music is great he has plenty of things to say

  • @Wgivens93 compared to tupac he has nothing to say.

  • @sf2explus have you heard jay z's albums?

  • @Wgivens93 yeah i have but i do know none of them are anywhere near pacs even eminem albums would kill jay-z's.

  • God bless you girl!

  • Great analysis on the song. This was way past due. & you are beautiful :)

  • lol so glad to see other REAL sister

  • Comment removed

  • and one thing i gotta say is u right about tupac not back, cause he never LEFT!

  • Comment removed

  • This shit is true as hell .... @BFPL_BigGeorge
