@chrisdev99 There are several differences.

1. The R5 has good bushings, the reason it doesn't turn from the tail is because the tail is wedged up at 40º. Combined with a 40º truck it will be at 0º (no turning). This means it acts more like a car in that all steering comes from the front.

2. The R5 is another variety of DH board. it is obviously a very different board from the evo.

@Littledrummerboy255 The evo IMO is the only decent landyachtz board. i love it man, very stiff and the concave is comfortable, the wedging makes it extra stable. the r5 on the other hand is a joke.. the 0 degree steering separates it from the evo.. unless your house is on the top of a straight hill and you are extremely, extremely prone to speed wobbles, get the evo.

It's personal preference. My friends and I ride rather loose, like, loose to the point that we can freeride and carve on it, but that's just how we like it. Normally, don't tighten it too much, but don't keep it too loose. Make your front truck looser than the back truck so you can steer with the front. Remember it's better if it's a little loose than too tight because if it's too tight, your chance of wobble may increase depending. So just keep it at a comfortable tightness.

What trucks is Tom Edstrand riding in this video because i'm riding the Bear 852's on front and back and since it's a 52 degree baseplate would that be good at very fast speeds or not so good and I live in the UK so I can't but the Hybrid Trucks or the Bear 840's.
