Well, the 3D portions were made in 3D Studio Max. Chowder took about 2 weeks to model, a week to texture and rig, and a week to animate. Art/Voiceacting was done in a day or two, and and 3D backgrounds were thrown together in a couple for hours. Everything was put together in Premiere.

Note that I probably only worked about 5 hours a week. It was pretty fun though, I'd watch movies (and by movies I mean pokecapn's 20 hour Sonic 06 LP) while I worked on it and I'm pretty happy with it.

Actually I realized when I started animating that Chowder doesn't work very well in 3D. In the cartoons, chowder has TINY arms and legs (I had trouble having him reach his mouth!), which they compensate for by making them stretchy. If I were to have made them stretchy in this it'd be a lot more noticeable.

Also 3D cartoons generally have terrible lighting/detail and don't look as polished as their 2D counterparts.
