  • the best

  • I hate that you can't hear the engine in these things. Wind noise, yes i dont wana hear, but i need the engine sound to know when to shift and for pleasure too. Doesn't feel like ur driving

  • @Bulgdoom look at ur gauges asshole

  • @vwVDUBvw

Whoooah easy there dipshit, why are you out of the closet?

  • VW Golf - the best car in the world.

  • i own the 2010 vw 2.5l golf.. its acually a good, safe car, it has plenty of airbags, it cruises @ 100mph..its acually a fun car to drive too, i have had a couple problems, just minor issues though. personally, for driving this car everyday about 40 miles, i would give it a solid 7/10 ( mind you i have to BASE version, no leather, foglights,SAT NAV, etc...) its really the best car for the price.

  • bad? why would you want to pay 8K more for an A3 when you have something better and cheaper with the new Gti? same engine.

  • @Reflex318

    Audi works for VolksWagen -_-'

  • number one VW&AUDİ

  • French cars suck. Look at the Renault vel satis, the Renault Megane. The last one looks like a duck and the rear of the megane looks like a fat ass.

  • I really think the rabbit was a failure and am looking forward to the gti stick

  • In my oppinion this new "generation" is only a facelift of the old one!

  • that's the whole idea! why would they take a near perfect car and change it.

  • Aren't all new cars a facelift of the previous model?

  • that's my opinion too. But it's a good f/l:)

  • Boootiful

  • "I do hope VW goes bust."

Why? Did you have a bad experience with a VW?

  • And the sad, slow demise of the GTI toward the Mk IV has begun again...

  • the exterior are more conservative than current generation

  • Hah the North American market getting the TSI more like the 2.5 cylinder.

  • Bull shit. Old people don't drive hatchbacks (generally)

  • It looks great.

You should stop looking at old peoples backs you perv.

  • the 122 hp engine is twincharged in USA?

I have the 122 hp in my golf 5 and it only has a Turbo a long with it. No Compressor. So I don´t know but i think that guy made a false comment?"

  • 2 engines 122hp and 160tsi 1.4l.

  • this xmas i asked santa for a new phone but he actually gave me that car... too baaaad... lol

  • It won't be R32 or R36, It will be GOLF VI R20 with 265 hp 4 cilinder engine becouse we all know that R32 have a weight problem so they will put much less heavier engine..

  • i dont like the new golf. In my opinion the MKIV is the best body. The MKV and this are pretty similar. I think VW could have done better.

  • agree with you. i have the mark 4, the 25 years edition turbo d with 110 cv, and is a great car .274000km without any problem

  • yea they're great cars.

  • i can't believe you,,,congratulations...

  • the Wolks engines are very strong, one of my best friends he's the owner of a Wolks Passat turbo d, with more than 500000 km, and every part of the enging is original.

  • well,i know about he engine but i have a jetta 02 1.8t ..a lot of electrical problems not covered by any warranty ,,now sometimes while im driving it just dies (usually in u-turns),,ever happened to u?

  • no, never. maybe i'm lucky, but my Golf mark 4, year 2000, is almost perfect. the only thing that is not original in my car is the battery! the rest stills working well. when did the electrical problems started? in your country the warranty cover 2 years, as here in Italy?

  • oh,thats what it is,,,i didn't know you were in Europe,,the ones we have here are made in Mexico ,,it makes a lot of difference,,

the warranty here is 3 years when is brand new ,,and also for the 2009 models the maintenance is included for the first time when you buy or lease,,,im having a hard time to change to other brand,,can't decide.

  • ok, i understand, i believe that now the best cars, talking about the quality of construction, they are the japanese cars, but i don't like too much the chassis,i mean the style. i like very much the new Volkswagen Scirocco, i had the chance to drive the car 1 month ago and i can tell you that is a great car, with a very good quality of the materials, great engine and a brand new style, different from the other cars of the Volks group.maybe in 2 years time i'm going with this one..

  • And a normal GTI, 210hp..

  • There is no R32 planned. A GTI-R with the s3 engine, 265hp is going to arrive...

  • haven't decided if i wanna trade mine in for one or by the time it is released, i will have paid off my MK IV....so i can do nasty things to its innocent motor.

  • yes! they have the TSI engine!

  • Anybody know when the new R32 (or possibly R36) is going to arrive?

  • Next year...

It will be 2.0 turbo with almost 280-300 hp and 4WD ofcourse.

  • The rear end of this car reminds me of a Subaru. I like the MKV butt better. The rest of it is pretty decent.

  • The twin charger sucks, driven one, needs high test gas, and has to have two forms of supercharging, and boy this will cost big at repair time, and all that for just 160 horsepower and acouple miles more per gallon. The 2.5 is better, cheaper in the long run and sounds better to.

  • turbo and SC, just more shit to brake

  • beautifull

  • Looks boring

  • wait what.. turbo and super charged?

  • it needs xenon lights.

  • to short not worth it.
