Well...the fact that all the good abridgers are in college, is because the advantage of being in college, is that you learn new humour, you become older, inside jokes get more emphasis, and so on...and also because the abridgers in college are either perfectionnists (Positive way) or they have the maturity and responsability to be able to continue on and make it look good...also they know how to use the equipment properly...hope that answers your question.
