@FEARnet lol i forget which book it is about them in space i never got that far the thought of vampires in space makes me laugh...and cringe -_- .ps i thought this was supposed to be the direct sequil dark days but even then this movie looks a bit painful to watch. from what i remeber in the novels i think one needed to either be biten or have thier blood in you to become a vamp. a good effort though, the movie seems low budget but the effects are nice...just the acting...oh the acting.

@MazdamusPrime All kidding aside, this actually is built off of the original steve niles story, the first 2 pages to be more exact. The book actually starts in New Orleans, but that was cut from the film. We made the official prequel to the original movie 3 years ago called blood trails, which is still available on our site. This is the sequel to that prequel.  This is also directed by Ben Ketai, who is directing Dark Days. So they are all tightly connect, but not interwoven storylines

I really enjoyed that book and I'll try to give this a chance. Also they would need to bring in the priestes charecter in if they are going to stick with the Eben and Stella story, no? 30 Days of Night was originally a graphic novel. It was made into a movie. Before the movie was released Fear Net released a prequel in (I think) 5 short episodes. The prequel was designed to drum up anticipation for the movie, but it was also popular in itself.

This is a new Fear Net release, a sequel done in much the same way as the prequel.

Vampires are better, but zombies cause big problems to there survival, such as reducing the amount of blood sources. Plus zombies can move around during the day to eat people which gives vampires less time to kill them to try and save humans so they an feed. (probably too realistic thinking for some people)

An argument in the Vampires Vs Zombies thing. I'm all for Vampires usually, but Zombies kill there victims and hence turning them into zombies themselves. Vampires need to drink blood, and it needs to be alive and warm. If there are loads of zombies, vampires gradually find it harder to get food and will eventually starve and die (again)
