@TheQuarterTurn I have a seeker in this version too. Or at least I've added one at some point. I run the max Serp line too, but still wanted something else in there since I only had two real attackers. Yanmega is a solid option as well and I'll probably try out the ND Amoongus once it's out.
I built a similar deck back during Fall Battle Roads, but Reshi was too much of a threat at the time for it to be at all playable. I ran it with an emphasis on getting all four Serperiors out, so I forwent the Roserade in favor of more supporters (MAX Twins, 1 Copycat, etc.), dual Cleffa, and a Rotom. When it worked, you could shock your opponent by healing 120 damage, swapping between attacking Serps. It's a fun deck. Best to accept the autolosses against fire and Zone rather than tech for them
also, by doing the spread damage, if it comes down to it where u have to fight with a serp, chances are they're all weak enough where youre gonna get the last couple prizes you need.
@archetype891 My main reason for not wanting to run it in 6 corners is that it makes an already slow and clunkish deck even clunkier. I think trimming the number of types down and focusing on one or two is the way to go.
the energy is the problem. but it ends up being a super six corners variant. it kills zek/eels with landorus or terrakion, it freezes reshi/boar/phlosion with glaciate, AND, it counters kyurem spread with serp, (resistance to water, and heals everything), and getting 2 serps out is good game against chandelure. i think its one of the few decks that has no autoloss at the moment. 4 rainbow/6fighting/ 5 water/1 grass energy. starting with virizion and just use it for draw and countering durant.
but, like u said at the beginning of the video, its just not competitive right now because there is no big hitter or real damage dealer. i think a serp/kyurem would be a competitive deck for the last 2 or 3 weeks this format is still in before next destinies. i have one last tournament to go to the first weekend of feb, and im going to play a serp/kyruem/landorus/virzion/terrakion deck, its not as clunky because the attackers are all basic and can be commed out with no set up, but
i did an accelgor/serp deck and fought a CaKE deck, he had a cobalion out with 3 special metal AND an eviolite. my bench had 3 ability serps and i had 2 accelgors in play. if he ironbreaked me i just retreated and i couldnt hurt him, i just sat there and knocked his energies off. he thought he had the game in the bag. he just could not get a kill. im sure he smashed his keyboard after he rage quit.
Man this deck is really awsome xD alltough it might be a bit slow it just gets so annoying when it does.
But one of the things that I think should be a main priority is to get up 2 bad serp sincethen U can stall for even more time retreating out to the other one letting U heal more damage before U send it in again
But once again I really love the concept of the deck ^^
"Made really stupid plays that I'm not going to post... sorry" lol I totally empathize. Most recent stupid play for me was switching out my Swellow, killing it, because I forgot S Rocks were up.
That find a friend at 11:45 was super risky; leaving an oddish in active is dangerous. For some reason though your opponent didnt attack and get the knockout the following turn.
Well you could of P-com for a pichu and set up nonetheless. I'm just pointing that out. Good video.
@Lokeeyyy He had no way to knock me out. Wobbuffet can only do damage if it has damage on it and find a friend doesn't do any. I also couldn't set up pichu since i had cleffa down. Having both babies eats up my precious bench space.
Also, bench space tended to be an issue, so I ran a single Seeker that I could Twins for late-game if needed.

this deck makes people rage quit too easy. i think out of 10 games only 2 or 3 actually finished

If fire types were still popular, or makes a comeback, you could try Metapod instead of Roserade as a tech, to remove the weakness.

@mtshank Oops sorry. Thought it was base 20 + damage. Not my fault though! - No one uses wobbuffet... ever.
