After you pull the hair through for the ponytail at the top, the hair gets kinda ruffled .. So now it looks like a bohemian fish tail braid ( im wearing one right now ) lol

Since i saw how your daughters hair got kind of rough looking after you out the second elastic in, I tied them of at the top then i separated the hair in half again in tis ponytail and twisted it down again and tied it off at the end. you should try it!!
