this has to be the most brilliant interpretation of the piece ive ever heard. you can feel the power of the waves and millions of waterdrops splashing through saturated air, glistening in the sun. how the wind is playing with the water surface, pushing and pulling the vigorous element as it does. -- you can always count on the berlin philharm. terrific job.
@qoroq you really need to listen to Orchestre de Paris or Montreal/Dutoit's version- far superior in evoking the impression of the sea than this somewhat ham- fisted(albeit well-played) version.
