It seems impossible to me that Journey never had a number 1 top 40 hit. They came close with Open Arms which went to number 2. Yes, it is strange. They are much more appreciated now, though. That seems to happen a lot where a band gets its credit due many years later. Happened to The Doors when their revival began around 1980. I think they labeled Journey "corporate" rock at one point, didn't they? Don't know if you get the Paul & Al show where you are, but they would mock them because of this. I never understood it, though. They were a great band who made great music.
