@StarfireClaudia It's so good. If you've seen Higurashi it's that much gore and more, but there's a LOT of nudity. If you can handle nipples (like you saw in the video) then you're fine. Just a warning: lotsa blood, gore, nudity, and more :)

Watch both 1st and 2nd seasons to get it. 3rd season is just kind of a nice bonus season :) It's incredibly good but really dark <#

I'm not a fan of anime, but I watched Elfen Lied on Netflix on accident, I saw the opening and heard the music so I kept watching, it was so beautiful. then I stayed up all night watching every episode. It was just simply amazing, Ive watched a few other animes that were good, but this is my favourite. Im currently reading the manga haha.

I love Gustav Klimt's artwork from a psychological and aesthetic perspective. Although the 'artistic point' of nudity now is probably different from what it was in Klimt's time. I'm just saying, from an aesthetic perspective, the stiff anime breasts kind of visually stand in contrast to the whole atmosphere of Klimt and Latin singing. And the whole effect given is one of inconsistency between the central character and the surrounding dark quality of the music.

I think you're under the impression the "atmosphere" is supposed to be about purity or piety, which it isn't. Most of Klimt's works (especially the ones used in this OP e.g. "The Kiss") all have to do with the fulfillment of sexuality and climax of emotion. (the one in the ED is of Lucy touching herself) Why do you think there's this stark contrast here?
