I've been working at costco for 2 years now as a cashier's assistant, slowly moving up as a back up cashier/running gas station/a little maintenance, and other special duties. As my 2nd year approaches.... I am so tired of the bull of my superiors, and customers who are in a bad mood for no reason, especially in huge crowds. Coupons really put the stress on us as all people shop for are coupon items nowadays. We are always undermanned in our warehouse and we are always over budgeting on payrol..

LOL funny! I love Costco. One time, I saved my mom a spot in line (who had to go all the way around the crowd to get to me). Of course, she had the cart and I was empty handed. The lady behind thought she could just bud right infront of me. She gradually walked beside me then decided to slowly go infront of me..wtf. The nerve of some people. So I left because my mom found a shorter line :P

Greetings, Had a job interview at the Ajax Costco. The person supposed to be doing the interview told me to go sit down for a minute, then they went back and continued to do their work and disregarded me sitting there waiting for my interview. 20 minutes later no one came to interview me nor did anyone tell me that it was delayed. So in this situation they seemed to show no regard for the person being interviewed.

Nutrition Now in Vancouver WA gummy vitamins are dirty. Workers at Nutrition Now do not wash their hands when they go inside the clean rooms, they eat gummys on the line, they do not change their cloves, bacteria levels are high on the tables, they use Goo Gone on the bottles to remove labels and reuse the bottles, workers do not wash their hands after going the bathroom, the black specs in the gummy vitamins are black trash bags stuck in the machines, no one is tested for drugs or TB there.

Nutrition Now who sell gummy vitamins to costco treats its quality control staff like dirt. Over 6 quality control staff have quit due to poor treatment. Nutrition Now has a culture that treats people like they are animals. Nutrition Now staff and managers do not refer to quality control staff by name but instead by "qc" which is demeaning. Nutrition Now staff eat gummys while they pack them into bottles and laugh at quality control staff. All Nutrition Now workers lie and are dishonest.

As an employee, love this video. The cat food sample was hilarious. The entire Front End bit was awesome. Never wore a vest as a Supervisor, but completely agree that FE assistants are the FE bitches. We actually assigned a separate department (80/30) as "Cart Crew", which has people working on carts 5 days a week. The coming out of the women's bathroom was awkwardly amusing. "Showtime Ready" is a phrase I've heard five times in two years. The "friendly honk" was awesome. Overall, 10/10!

Cashiers are stupid. They just scan crap and stand in place all day then get all the credit. Assistants bust their a@@ get stuff in and out of carts, item numbers, and taking crap back that members didn't want. All that without a peep of thanks. And cashiers get more pay.
