  • Yes, you can make a clam - just use the same ideas as I used in the fish - but it will be easier since there's no fins. Or eyes, or mouth....

  • I can't wait to get this book! I did papier mache years ago but don't remember anyone using cardboard for a base. That will make things much simpler as far as designing and transferring a pattern.

  • @JanLilyJing The only other person I've ever read who recommends the cardboard patterns is James C. Cochrane, but unfortunately his book is only available from the UK branch of Amazon. I agree - the cardboard base makes things so much easier.
