Oh shutup. Taking a redeeming quality and spinning it around is childish. I'd like to here some policy critiques and substantial arguments, instead of religious conspiracies and ill-minded rhetoric.
yay for humanity , he aint black , he is half black / half white . Tiger is half black / half asian , I can list many more great people from cross racial families . The United States needs renewal . PLEASE give this new guy a chance OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT!
Who cares what his race is? Human is his race, I think. Give him a chance, he's had a chance he's been a JUNIOR senator for 2 years and has done NOTHING but self promote for a better job when he's done nothing to earn it and shown no real qualifications based on past performance. Look up his voting record, most of the votes are Not Present in the senate and in the Illinois senate most were "present" that means if he couldn't have it entirely his way he didn't want it. Cop OUT!
The world is all so simple for those of you, like ChuliaKir, who make everything about pro-life. You have to look at the total candidate. I'm not saying that Obama is flawless, but compared to Hillary and John McCain, he is by far the best.
Qualifications and Issues are two different things. One qualification for President of the most powerful country in the world should be a respect for all human life, especially for a small innocent born breathing person. Otherwise the issues don't really matter because in the end we will all get screwed.
I made a different judgment. I thought our priority had to be finishing the fight in Afghanistan. I spoke out against what I called 'a rash war' in Iraq. I worried about, 'an occupation of undetermined length, with undetermined costs, and undetermined consequences.' The full accounting of those costs and consequences will only be known to history. But the picture is beginning to come into focus."
America's free market has been the engine of America's great progress. It's created a prosperity that is the envy of the world. It's led to a standard of living unmatched in history. It has provided great rewards to the innovators and risk-takers who have made America a beacon for science, We are all in this together. From CEOs to shareholders, from financiers to factory workers, we all have a stake in each other's success because the more Americans prosper, the more America prospers"
"The time to fix our broken immigration system is now... We need stronger enforcement on the border and at the workplace... But for reform to work, we also must respond to what pulls people to America... Where we can reunite families, we should. Where we can bring in more foreign-born workers with the skills our economy needs, we should"
— Barack Obama, Statement on U.S. Senate Floor, May 23, 2007
I will NEVER UNITE with a man who argues on the floor of congress that an infant who is born (but wasn't carried 9 months) is not a person or protected by US law! This man supported infanticide when he voted against the BORN ALIVE INFANT PROTECTION ACT 2002. I will FIGHT HIM and THIS ARGUMENT TIL I DIE and for all the other babies that were left on shelves in the soiled Chicago hospital utility rooms to die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you don't care for an infant who is alive and breathing then you care nothing about our women and men fighting overseas for our right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. For you it is a pretext.
This is a non-winning argument kihoalukid. Chula is a Pro-Life extremist and no matter what sense we make, we won't even remotely begin to have them even understand any rational argument that doesn't directly involve Pro-Life arguments.
Pro-Life, Pro-Choice, Pro-War, Anti-War..it doesn't matter, if we're not celebrating Pro-Life, then they don't want a reply back to their comment.
When it comes to pasively killing a born child by placing them on a shelf in a closet to die, you are right on one point. There is no rational argument to justify it. One person told me they were born dead and any way they were going to die anyway. Pretty rational?
"We now face an opportunity — and an obligation — to turn the page on the failed politics of yesterday's health care debates... My plan begins by covering every American. If you already have health insurance, the only thing that will change for you under this plan is the amount of money you will spend on premiums. That will be less. If you are one of the 45 million Americans who don't have health insurance, you will have it after this plan becomes law
This is the look and sound of a statesman. A man that hopefully can lead us past the others on the other side that dismiss hope, that can see only a future filled with more fear, more hate, and more fighting.
Hope, fear, hate, and fighting? Noone wants that no matter what side your on. I honestly do share your peace, love, and happiness values in my own life and wish the same for the world. When it comes to INTERNATIONAL matters however, the brutal and unimaginably violent slayers of religious enemies, vicious rapists of enemies, and those dictators that take everything from their "people", Obama is not going to "change" their minds by just "negotiating and informing" them that they're wrong.
Never said he could. No one can reason with someone who bases their actions on faith, on an adherence to an ideal to the exclusion of reason and science.

youradhere4222 - exactly, political platforms and definitive programs are what OBAMA needs to expound.
His redeeming qualities of Southern preaching style and spinned popular rhetorics are melodramatic indeed.
Enough bullshit, OBAMA !!!

Mr. Obama,
Democratic Presidential Nominee
I would like to encourage you not to have Hillary as your running mate.
there is no way i can explain why, my feelings on this matter are sincere.
If you are to have anybody i would appreciate it so much if you considered Dr. Ron Paul
for you VP position.
You guys would seriously change the world for the better. forget about democrat or republican becuase both sides have valid points.

She voted for the Born Alive Infant Protection Act 2002 which outlawed letting born babies die in closets. Obama voted against the act.

Do you share the same passion for those executed on death row or the tens of thousands killed in Iraq?
