For many years renfe has been using some specific locomotive for Talgo services (see class 352, 353, 354).
All of them have been already retired from service (last three 354 within this year).
These locomotives were specially arranged for Talgo services, so they had the same high as cars.
Once retired, diesel class 334, 319, 333, and some other electric locomotives are used for Talgo services, and they are also used with conventional material, so aerodinamics were not taken into account.
cool , why are the Talgo cars lower then the Loco?
