  • she is amazing...

  • I don't really have a problem with CI, but if I was deaf, I wouldn't want one. 1) I'd be too scared of the surgeon making a mistake, 2) I already know sign language, so it wouldn't be necessary, 3) I wouldn't want to hear electronically. If I was to hear, it would be natural. So, I won't diss on CI, but I'm saying they aren't always miraculous.

  • shes not deaf but shes cute and good

  • im hearing impaired and i sing too, this little girl is so cute, and if she keeps singing she'll have a very good voice when she is older. no one really understands how hard it is to sing with a hearing lost. for everyone else that wants to bash maybe you should put yourself in her shoes and see what its like. good job to the parents you should be proud :)

  • Fantastic!

  • such a blessing....I'm so happy for her.

  • That is amazing I have never heard of that and she is adorable I love it so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • :D This is great.

  • i am sorry to say this but this is super fake because in one part you say what onk oonk and she responds and i thought she was deaf

  • @ajromero9ful She's had cochlear implants.. she can hear because of them. Although (i'm assuming) she was born deaf.

  • Actually she was born hearing. She lost her hearing at 2.5 because of an illness. We had planned on her learning ASL but because of strokes with the illness she was paralyzed and had to learn to move again. By the time she had enough manual dexterity to learn ASL she was hearing and speaking so well never did it.

  • @ajromero9ful Ummm.. Read the little description under the video. Cochlear implants allowed his daughter to regain her hearing.. (Not fake.)

  • that's amazing! she's adorable :)

  • 33 people will burn in hell

  • aww so cute!!!

  • :P awesome cute lil gurl u got there btw :PPP

  • Oh your daughter is so beautiful! And adorable! I'm glad that the implants are working out wonderfully!

  • How cute! Does your daughter know ASL?

  • i love it and i am really shocked at what some people said this girl is talented

  • I love all of the comments saying something along the lines of "She's not deaf, she can hear what he's saying!!!" They make me lol.

  • oh wow that is adorable <3

  • Shes not deaf tho. She heard what her dad said.

  • @dezilou01 She "heard" what he said BECAUSE of the "bionic ears" that were surgically placed in her head. Read the description!

  • cute !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • awh!!

  • This is SO amazing! She is very lucky and beautiful!

  • if she is deaf how is she responding to what the guy is sayind and her voice is really clear not even a bit rusty or sloppy or ANYTHING

  • I am absolutely shocked at some of the responses to this video. I am an adult who without hearing aids wouldn't be able to do what this little girl does. Your daughter is absolutely adorable and precious! AND a pretty darn good singer!

  • Certainly there are some dumb posts. However I do understand a bit of why the deaf community is bothered. It’s about change. This was good for my family but bad for a community that is seeing it’s numbers decline. I have Greek friends whose kids go to Greek school. Polish friends whose kids go to polish school all because they want their culture to endure. The deaf culture is just as real.

  • she isnt death

  • WOW. I'm amazed that her voice came out as clear as it did. Usually people sound a bit sloppy, but your little girl is so clear, and has such a good voice! (:

  • not deth a lie

  • that's awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't know they would work that good

  • awww so cute

  • awwwwwhhh(:

  • SCIENCE!

  • Awwwwwwwh! She's so cute~ I myself was born profoundly deaf (that or I lost my hearing at an extraordinary rate) and I got a cochlear implant in my right ear. Advanced bionics rock~ <3

Power Junkie out. (I'll give you a cookie if you know what that means~!)

  • awwww she so cute!!!! it amazing wat they come up with for kids that help tghem live better lives!!!

  • Your daughter is adorable! :)

  • So precious!!!! :)

Not many people are aware of the seriousness of Meningitis, deafness OR the implants.

I'm not a big fan of the implants, being a big fan of ASL and the deaf culture, and how risky they can be. But I hand it to those who get them for being brave enough to get their brain cut open (ewww).

    Your daughter is adorable! :)

  • You're daughter is absolutely adorable! I dont understand why people are upset that she has the implants. Im pretty sure that as a parent you are suppose to do things that help your child. I know I would be kinda screwed if my mom chose not to get me glasses when I was younger. bless you and your little girl and happy holidays!!

  • such a cute girl :) im happy for you guys :) i understand that people are probably mad because those Cochlear implants are probably really expensive and a lot of people probably can't get them... i just wish everyone could just be happy for her though..

  • Wow, God blesses the rich..again

  • She is so cute and very pretty

  • i dont know wut cochlear implants r......

  • Cochlear implants are literally bionic ears that deliver sound right the auditory nerve in your brain. They are right out of Star Trek.

  • fake and gay

  • @AudioFuelProd IF YOU DONT LIKE IT YOU DONT HAVE TO LEAVE RUDE COMMENTS

  • um she can hear you got to watch it and she can hear him when he talks

  • awh shes cute:3 also i dont know why people think its bad to let your child hear again!

  • Watch my other video and tell me I made a mistake. By your logic if she was hit by a car and had lost her leg I should have just told her to go find some one legged people, I shouldn't have gotten her a prosthetic leg? If she was born with a cleft palate I should have just let it be and not gotten it fixed? If she needs glasses are those ok? I don't want to "fix" you. I made a tough personal choice for my daughter because I care about her and that is my job. You go live your own life.

  • @ChuckMasonTV Thats different. That would leave her physically handicapped her life would be a lot harder after losing a leg. The Deaf have our own community and Culture, which you probably dont or didnt know. We have music and schools, bands, clubs, etc... that work just as well as it would for a Hearing person. Deaf communities are (usually) completely separate from the Hearing community. I dont think after your kid suddenly losing her hearing, you are going to look up the Deaf culture, so it

  • @ChuckMasonTV sorry, charactor limit....so it makes sense that you would want her to hear again.

  • @ChuckMasonTV I was born with a cleft lip and palate, my friend is half deaf, i dont have a friend with a prostetic leg, but i see people who do. You bring up great points... If my parents didnt give me a rhinoplasty and all that other stuff, i could be deaf and potentially never hear or talk for the rest of my life. I am 14 and my hearing may not be perfect, but it's better than not hearing when people could fix it. You inspire me, my family, and all my friends... thank you!

  • @Importzkiller HAHA UR A RETARD, AND A BUDDEST

  • @steelersnation84118 IF YOU DONT LIKE IT YOU DONT HAVE TO LEAVE RUDE COMMENTS

  • The parent/s probably dont(or didnt at the time) know anything about the Deaf community or Deaf Culture. Having never been deaf, they wouldnt think of her listening to music through vibrations, and signs, they probably thought "she will never get a job, school will be harder, she wont hear music or birds or tv shows" I dont think its the parents' fault that they didnt think "Maybe it will just become her life" they probably thought it would make her life more difficult.

  • its a miracle! :)

  • aww adorable thumbs up if you agree this is a miracle that she can hear!

  • this is so cute, :)

  • OMG SHE IS SO CUTEEEEEEE :]

  • is she learning any sign langauge? i am deaf, and want to get cochlear implant, but i still will sign and meet other deaf. if her hearing aids fail or something than will be good to have a back up form of communication. she is so beautiful. wish you guys the best.

  • @ChuckMasonTV Don't even waste your time responding to ignorant people, as long you know the truth that's all that counts! Btw please make more video's, your daughter is adorable and sounds beautiful (-:

  • Every so often I get a response to this video from a person who is scared, is thinking about taking the leap with cochlear implants and just isn't sure. They see her happy and singing, and they know that everything is going to be ok for them too, it brings them hope. Those people make all the others worth it. Those are the fellow children and parents I post this video for.

  • I feel sorry for her father, he should not have to put up with people challenging her deafness. If she became deaf from bacterial meningitis when she was two and a half years old, then before that, she could hear and most likely form words and sounds. Just because she has little trouble forming words or a voice that "sounds deaf," does not mean that she can hear without cochlear implants.

  • this video is making my eyes water! this is just amazing. anyone, especially people with children, can appreciate what a beautiful moment this is. congratulations on a beautiful wonderful child, i'm so happy for you and your family. pay no attention to the idiots behind their computer screens. their opinions aren't even worth a glance.

  • people ur calling her a bull shit n suff like that shes cute n whaat if shes not deaf blae the dad she dont hav a utube acc

  • not deaf!

  • @catrules2011 how so?

  • She is so damn gorgeous! :D I'd love to take her around for ice cream :D

..w...wait..that sounds weird as hell...know what, just forget it.

  • Cochlear implants is straight bullshit and fake. Fuck them

  • Good thing you did some research before making yourself look stupid. oh wait...

  • @blackeagles714 you're obviously an uneducated fool. Grow up! if you have nothing nice to say then don't say it!

  • @blackeagles714 Lmao okay you do that.

  • I believe the issue about her being deaf is from the Deaf/deaf distinction. She is medically deaf but she is not Deaf, as in part of Deaf culture. American Sign Language is a huge part of Deaf culture. While some Deaf people can speak, it is less common in Deaf culture. She is probably considered oral deaf, who are often not considered part of the Deaf community because they have very different experiences and views.

  • shes beautuful

  • I don't get how she's not deaf? Can someone who believes she isn't deaf explain how they think so?

  • @EmiGoesRawrr She IS deaf, but she using the Cochlear impants to help her to hear, without it, she can't hear at all. So most of parent and doctors always says cochlear implants that can make you be like hearing people (Hear very sharp like hearing people can)

  • @blackeagles714 Dumbass I don't NEED to research them, Im hard of hearing and I have a deaf brother who wore that and he said he it's not true!!!! So why don't YOU check it out.

  • @blackeagles714 I know she IS deaf, but I want to know how people who believe she isn't deaf think this. There's clearly to implants on the side of her head, I know. But there's still people who say, "she's not deaf" and I wanna know why they think so.

  • God Bless :) What a happy child :D

  • everyone STOP hating, shes adorable<3 God Bless her!!

  • how do you guys know shes not deaf!

if shes had cochlear implants then OBVIOUSLY she can hear and learn to sing!

    idiots!

    She's beautiful xxx

  • whats with all the retards saying "not deaf". Some people are just an embarassment to their country

  • not deaf!!!

  • @tina33398 Did you mean that you can't read?

  • @tina33398 shes clearly deaf. she has a cochlear at 0:49

  • i like the way she says "G" lol

  • She is so cute, oh my goodness!

  • Everyone who says "She's not deaf" obviously didn't read the caption. Maybe those people are blind.

  • Adorable!! :D

  • Aww! she so cute [: i wish her the best

  • Oh my god, you are hating on a deaf girl singing... do you get joy from this? Do you feel acomplished? Your disgusting truly.. all of you people saying "not deaf" put yourself in her place. How do you feel?

  • okaaaaaaay, my best friend is deaf and is thinking about having this done..THIS GIRL IS DEAF AND THERE ARE AMZING PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD THAT CAN HELP HER HEAR..AMAZING PEOPLE UNLIKE THE PEOPLE ON HERE THAT ARE SLATING THIS VIDEO!

  • Everyone who has made fun of this girl, doubted this girl, called the father an idiot, said how she can't sing.... I hope all of you randomly become deaf.

  • I saw the implants. Its hard to see because it blinds in with her hair but if u go to :50secs u will see it too. All the ppl who said he was lieing should give this man an apology.

  • shes not deaf the dad is talking to her and she is talking back

  • @667788andrea omg ya she is XD

  • Wow!!! She is not deaf!!!! Grrr people need to know how stupid they are!!!! Espassily you!!

  • Espassily is spelled especially? Also I assure you that she is profoundly deaf. She lost her hearing at 2.5 years old from bacterial meningitis. I was there when she woke from her coma. I was there when she was given bionic ears three months later. You should watch my other video of when her new ears were activated, it might open your mind. Lastly just because the internet is annonymous doesn't mean that you should type things that would embarrass your family.

  • @ChuckMasonTV Blessed Child Amazing story see what a miracle this invention is

  • SHE USES A COCHLEAR IMPLANT YOU IGNORANT PEOPLE! SHE IS DEAF BUT USES AN AID TO HEAR!!! ughhhhhhhhhh! the ignorance in this fucking country makes me sick

  • @tiana6499 and thelittlebeadles f u both

  • Your little girl is sssooo beautiful and its amazing how great she can hear and respond.....I'm sorry about her being deaf but am sssooo happy she is doing great now :))

  • she cant be deaf

  • well, show me a mute girl who can sing and we talk

  • Personally, I think your daughter's voice is beautiful. Your family has done a great job working with her to make the most of her implant... I have a teenaged cousin with one, and I still find it amazing just how well kids who are implanted early can do if their families are willing to put forth the effort required for speech therapy and oral training.

  • @ThePinkRocky She has Bionic ears so shut up kay

  • @ThePinkRocky The internet may be anonymous, but that does not mean that you should conduct yourself without class. It's very tricky which is kind of the point. She is absolutely deaf. She has bionic ears that let here hear. Some people put on glasses in the morning so they can see. Some people get up and put on a false leg so they can run. She gets up and puts on her bionic ears so that she can hear.

  • @ThePinkRocky DUDE GIVE THE GIRL A BREAK IT WAS CUTE AND DID SOMETHING BITE YOUR BUT CAUSE YOUR BEING A JERK

  • @ThePinkRocky Just because she is speaking and singing doesn't mean she can hear. I find you completely and utterly pathetic to be telling a little girl that she can't sing. I'm pretty sure she can sing FAR better than you, simply because she's not some arrogant jerk. If you read her father's description, you'd see that she has bionic ears, enabling her to finally hear. I find it a blessing that such a tragedy can be fixed. And you should be a mature adult and feel the same way for her. Asshole.

  • K people who are too negative to even look for the truth.. go to 0:47 and when she turns her head to the side you can see her Cochlear implants. Ok? So maybe if you wanna go look you'll shut up and stop being assholes. And if you don't believe me that that is what Cochlear implants look like.. look them up. I'm right. If you guys try to argue you'll look stupid so I wouldn't make myself look any more classless if I were you.

  • your daughter is really adorable LOL! thanks for sharing

    Alot of Love & Peace

  • awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • how would she respond to her dad she wasnt lookin @ her daddy so she couldnt reaad his lips

  • yes, this girl can hear with cochlear implants but without them she is deaf, she would still be classified as deaf. I've been learning sign language for the past 4 years my boyfriend is profoundly deaf and i have a lot of deaf friends some with hearing aids, cochlear implants or nothing to help their hearing. People who claim this girl is not deaf dont understand the mechanisms behind it and are simply not deaf aware.

  • not deaf

  • @vampiresfe It's very tricky which is kind of the point. She is absolutely deaf. But has bionic ears that let here hear. Some people put on glasses in the morning so they can see. Some people get up and put on a false leg so they can run. She gets up and puts on her bionic ears so that she can hear.

  • @vampiresfe read the desricption before you type

  • @vampiresfe read the freaking description retard

  • its cute! but if she is deaf how could she respond to her dad when he was talking to her?

  • @hade10101 It's very tricky which is kind of the point. She is absolutely deaf. But has bionic ears that let here hear. Some people put on glasses in the morning so they can see. Some people get up and put on a false leg so they can run. She gets up and puts on her bionic ears so that she can hear.

  • wow faking and saying that ur child if deaf she is not.... hello u idiot shes responding

  • The internet may be anonymous, but that does not mean that you should conduct yourself without class. It's very tricky which is kind of the point. She is absolutely deaf. But has bionic ears that let here hear. Some people put on glasses in the morning so they can see. Some people get up and put on a false leg so they can run. She gets up and puts on her bionic ears so that she can hear.

  • @H3llspawn106 same thing dummy read the desripction before you type

  • @H3llspawn106 google "cochlear implants" dipshit. Way to show you have the i.q of a mouse

  • It's very tricky which is kind of the point. She is absolutely deaf. But has bionic ears that let here hear. Some people put on glasses in the morning so they can see. Some people get up and put on a false leg so they can run. She gets up and puts on her bionic ears so that she can hear.

  • shes deaf but yet she heard that man say she was saying oink oink for a cow....wowo what people do to get on youtube

  • @MsBestfrien It's very tricky which is kind of the point. She is absolutely deaf. But has bionic ears that let here hear. Some people put on glasses in the morning so they can see. Some people get up and put on a false leg so they can run. She gets up and puts on her bionic ears so that she can hear.

  • @MsBestfrien You're just as bad as that other idiot I told off. The whole point of this video isn't her intelligence level, it's the fact that she can FINALLY HEAR! God, what people do to get ATTENTION and a thumbs up on youtube.

  • wait wait shes not deaf at all

  • @Classi74 she is,she just has bionic ears to hear.Just like I have glasses to see and amputees have false legs to walk/run on. Ever see that movie "Orphan"? in the movie the little girl has those and takes them out at night to sleep, just like you would with contacts. (Note: it wasn't the girl who was adopted from the orphanage,it was the little girl the couple originally had) Find some clips of the movie here on youtube and you can might find one where you can see what they look like.

  • Yes it's very tricky which is kind of the point. She is absolutely deaf. But has bionic ears that let here hear. As you said some people put on glasses in the morning so they can see. Some people get up and put on a false leg so they can run. She gets up and puts on her bionic ears so that she can hear.

  • :'(

  • so cute

  • awwwwwwwwwww

  • if u read the description u see she can hear thumbs up if u saw the description

  • She's absolutely AMAZING!!!! I love her. Thank God for modern medicine!! This makes me appreciate my sense of hearing all the more!!! God bless!!

  • I'm crying right now.

I can't wait until I get my cochlear implants-- I'm 11, and my hearing keeps dropping, and I'm almost completely deaf.

  • Hi Taylor, good luck to you. You should watch my other video of when her ears were activated for the first time. Her expression says it all. If you or your parents ever want advice or and inside scoop on living with CI's we are always willing to help.

  • Aww

  • She is deaf, she has two cochlear implants, one on each side. With her being such a young girl, with such impeccable speech, she most likely became deaf recently. The cochlear implants help to hear the noise.

  • She's not deaf she can hear

  • It's very tricky which is kind of the point. She is absolutely deaf. But has bionic ears that let here hear. Some people put on glasses in the morning so they can see. Some people get up and put on a false leg so they can run. She gets up and puts on her bionic ears so that she can hear.

  • @ChuckMasonTV Do you just say the same thing over and over again?

    P:S She is not deaf...lol

  • @ChuckMasonTV That's really neat! Great to know how far we've come in medical knowledge!

  • She sings so good!!!

  • shes not deaf

  • @charlotte12586975 It's very tricky which is kind of the point. She is absolutely deaf. But has bionic ears that let here hear. Some people put on glasses in the morning so they can see. Some people get up and put on a false leg so they can run. She gets up and puts on her bionic ears so that she can hear.

  • not trying to be mean but when she was singing old mc.donald she messed up and he said something to her and she replied to want he said sooooooo she is not deaf

  • @9tailNARUTOYAHH It's very tricky which is kind of the point. She is absolutely deaf. But has bionic ears that let here hear. Some people put on glasses in the morning so they can see. Some people get up and put on a false leg so they can run. She gets up and puts on her bionic ears so that she can hear.

  • Omgz shes so cutee!!! <3 xx

  • so cute<3

  • That is so cute. grats :). Hmmm, I got to this video from the Idol auditions .... maybe a sign? Anyway, she is a youtube star.

  • Wow, would you post a link to that. She will love that.

  • Oh my god she is so cute. I hope she is doing well and I feel for her even though I myself am not deaf. Greetings from Pennsylvania!

  • Wow why are so many people commented saying "She is not deaf" Didn't you see the title? This is obviously a proud father of a little girl who is able to hear again after having cochlear implants. This is an amazing video. Glad to see how well she is singing and hearing.

  • 0:07 if she is deaf of did she know when you said B I N G O and after that she said b i n g o?she aint deaf

  • Cochlear implants are amazing. They allowed my daughter to hear and sing again after losing her hearing at two and a half. When she turns her head you can see the implants.

  • @ChuckMasonTV ooooh so she can actually hear but naturaly she is deaf.i get it now

  • Cochlear implants are amazing. They allowed my daughter to hear and sing again after losing her hearing at two and a half. When she turns her head you can see the implants.

  • Cochlear implants are amazing. They allowed my daughter to hear and sing again after losing her hearing at two and a half. When she turns her head you can see the implants.

  • @MightySerbianFighter you all are suck idiots. If you bothered to READ the description you'll see that obviously she can hear him while she's singing. READING is a POWERFUL tool.

  • @MightySerbianFighter if you would pay attention she has cochlear implants, dont mean to be mean or whatever but read the description first b4 you talk.

  • @MightySerbianFighter

    Read the description.....

  • @xOMGxITSxIANx my god you are like a 4th person trying to act smart ''read description''...

  • So are these implants a cure for deafness, or are there some kinds of deafness that they don't cure?

  • Each case is different, it all depends on why someone is deaf. My daughter had her inner ear destroyed by illness. This technology bypasses the inner ear and gives sound right to the auditory nerve in the brain. It worked great for her because she was given the implant at a young age also.

  • Cochlear implants are amazing. They allowed my daughter to hear and sing again after losing her hearing at two and a half. When she turns her head you can see the implants.

  • @tpmableful well tbh some ppl in the deaf community view cochlear implants not as a cure but as a way of fixing something thats not broken. and it is a serious operation to go through and like any operation there are risks; sometimes its a decision parents simply cant make and is best done when the child is young to encourage speech. Although from my experience in the deaf community it is mainly deaf children of hearing parents get implants; although sign language should still be encouraged
