jimjim63 if ur being serious ur fuckn retarded greg louganis is still alive ha i hope u ment the RIP thing with maybe him not diving or somthing because u really are stupid if u think that he is dead ha
I thought Bruce was an awesome diver. I use to watch him compete against my boyfriend Paul Watson at EMU. He was a great guy back then. They worked very hard to achieve their talents and yes he made a bad decision or two being in the wrong place at the wrong time and I would not wish that on anyone. Good Luck and keep up the good work. Hayley Mills
I have bruce kimball as a teacher and he is a really great guy. kellyjv1988 needs to calm down. i am sorry about ur friends but that was a mistake that he made and we all make mistakes. he does everything he can to prevent those kind of things now

He maybe a great diver. BUT HE KILLED INNOCENT TEENS WHILE HE WAS DRUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!TWICE THE LEGAL LIMIT IN FL..PLOWING HIS CAR INTO A GROUP OF TEENS. THOSE WHO WERE LUCKY ENOUGH TO SURVIVE HAD THERE BODIES MANGLED AND IT LOOKED LIKE A WAR ZONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT A CHAMP!!!
That is great that you want to commend him for his talent...However, my friends that were killed had talent as well. Life shows us that the dead are easily forgotten and the ones that cause the hurt return to a normal life. I HOPE in his role as a teacher and coach he GIVES SPEECHES AGAINST DRINKING AND DRIVING TO HIS STUDENTS! BETTER YET I PRAY HE PERSONALLY GIVES HIS NUMBER OUT TO STUDENTS TO DRIVE THEM HOME IF THEY CAN NOT DRIVE THEMSELVES!!!
I trained for 3 years under Bruce's wing. He is the nicest man I have ever met. He has positively impacted my life, and I will never forget him. Kelly, you need to calm down. Everyone knows what happened, it was a horrible thing. The fact that he has changed his life, and the lives of everyone he meets exceeds the troubles that once plagued him. Bruce is an amazing person, I was lucky to have him as a coach.
@kellyjv1988 i imagine that you have also made mistakes in life when you were young and that you looked for peace and forgiveness. Remember that when you judge others.
Bruce is the best coach and role model anyone could ever ask for. He lectures his classes every year talking about what happened and how he ruined his life with drugs and alcohol. He says that not a day goes by when he doesn't think about what happened. Bruce moving on and having a good life with a wonderful wife and kids and being in a position where he can positively influence high-school kids despite all that happened is the strongest thing i have ever heard of. I love and respect him.
@kellyjv1988 bruce is my high school diving coach and he has never forgotten that it happened, and he hasn't driven a car since. after practice in December with it was 27 outside i watched him get on his bike and ride 4 miles to his house over ice. yes it happened and the families have forgiven him. he hasn't had a single drink since that happened. im sorry that it happened to, but it was a long time ago and you need to move on like he is trying to do.
When I see it I still feel like an 18 years old high diver admiring Greg`s triple twist. But his dives in L.A. 1984 were even more amazing, especially his 5337. Great stuff!!
Although this video doesn't show it that much, Bruce Kimball was the nastiest ripper diving has ever seen. Especially on his 634C, nobody could do that dive like he did.
great video to study dives from, this helped me for training - good vid man :)

Don't hate so hard. I'm not trying to commend him for what happened. People are just appriciateing him for his talent, not his mistakes.

Ditto WonderboyST about Bruce's rip. However, I always thought his 301B & 305C were more reliable and spectacular.
