wow what poor rigging..... these guys should call in a real crane next time instead of these wanna bees, lucky that spreader bar held up to the sling over the top and not properly shackled to the spreader.... these guys will kill someone one day

@kerdawg77 ok but the center of the bar isnt designed for weight its designed for spread the weight.weight goes through the end eyes not the center bar and theres no rating on that sling the way they have it strung through the wheels like that....
plus you said it in your response..... that spreader was designed for c-cans not cars.... wrong equipment for the job.

Ah, I see. Good point. I was working for this guy a few years ago, fixing up cars, he brought in this '92 Chevy Beretta GT. 2.8 V6, had rearended a pickup, the throttle was jammed open, when a piece of the airbox got lodged in the throttle body. This is a very logical point.
