im a boy and i do this for people no im not gay and people say im pretty good at is and you can buy the paste at michales if u have no were eles to go i suggest u dont start right away on an actual hand but on paper then ur own hand then ask a friend if u can do this to them... but this is my sugggestion

You can buy ready made henna cones and henna powder in pakistani, indian, middle eastern and african shops if you live in an area where the society is mulicultural. If not you can order it from ebay or amazon. Good luck :-)

usually i make large batches of paste, and then portion it out into cones like the one in this video. then i throw them in the freezer and pull one out to thaw when i want to use one. if there's still some paste left in a cone, i just throw it back into the freezer, where it will keep indefinitely if left undisturbed...

i absolutely DO NOT use black henna, which, in fact, is not henna at all. it's a chemical called PPD that can also be found in commercial hair dyes. and yes, it is very dangerous for use on skin. real, natural henna only comes in one color, which results in a red/brownish stain. i get mine from reputable suppliers listed on hennapage(dot)com and usually use a mix of rajasthani and jamila powders, and mix my own paste

i dont get how henna works, so put it on the paste and then scratch it off and then it leaves a stain?

Basically, but you leave it on for hours, often overnight. When you take it off it's bright orange, but it will slowly darken just like an apple left on the counter does.
