@xxRiidDl3dSn1p3rxx That's why you also wear lifevests, tried it, works fine. Why do you think helmets are mandatory for all PWC drivers when racing otherwise?
@aburman81 Up in Wisconsin, we're not required to wear helmets when we're on PWC's...i never wore one...but i never raced.....so.......i guess im wrong....thanks for not being a dick about it...like alot of people would be.
i think if the sled was a big boy sled(700cc or more) and it had a deep lug track on it, it would spank the jetski..The sled just needs some speed before hitting the water
not necessaraly. water gets into the engine compartment quite easily when your foolin around. after a while, you usually have to book it across the lake to drain it.
the best thing to do is to hit the kill switch before u go under, or when u pull the sled out is to take out the spark plugs and pull the rip cord untill all the water is out of the engine
well i must be stupid then.. and im not trying to argue but most people i see are in t-shirts.. and i go out in cold weather all the time without a helmet
Well, if you don't have anything in your head that you care about I guess riding without helmet is your choice. According to the Finnish law you have to wear a helmet when riding snowmobiles, although I would do it anyway.
Tie a buoy to the sled with a long enough rope that floats up in case the sled sinks, make sure the rope is attached to a place on the sled that can handle the lifting.
you shouldnt wear helmets on the water.....you go under that helmet will become a suction cup and keep you under....just saying.

who would win in a race a jetski or a snowmobile both in water
enyce699 2 years ago
obviously the jetski
coreytylerfry 2 years ago
actually they had a race like that in a circle with a few hundred ft diameter and the sled raped the jetski, not sure bout straight line tho

r the snowmobiles done for or do the run still
vettet1 2 years ago
As long as you get em out of the water quick and get em up and running there's no problem (with 2-strokes).
aburman81 2 years ago
thanks but do u no if a jetski want under then do u think it will run?
vettet1 2 years ago
Should not be any problem as long as you don't leave the water in the engine for too long. Also depends on if it's a 2 or 4-stroke engine.
aburman81 2 years ago
@vettet1 jet skis are watertight sealed

Well of course there are speed limits at bigger marinas and shallow places etc. but on the open sea, sure =)
aburman81 2 years ago

nbhscanes 2 years ago
Nope, actually we don't really have "no wake zones" in Finland, yet :-)

It's several different sleds, not just one.
aburman81 3 years ago
why do they wear helmets?? not really much point unlees ur doin rly crazy stuff
bignellmatt 3 years ago
Believe me, you want the helmet (and the goggles) when the water temperature is about 10°C. Not wearing safety equipment is just plain stupid.
aburman81 3 years ago
well i must be stupid then.. and im not trying to argue but most people i see are in t-shirts.. and i go out in cold weather all the time without a helmet
