Some of you are not getting it. it's not labeled backwards it's ( and this is purely my own opinion please correct me if I'm wrong) like a puzzle you piece it together and as soon as it gives you a little bit of info things start making sense. And in the end you are left with the big picture.

Ok for the people that don't get it...cliff just returned from the trip from china for the job interview. Alvin picked him up an gave him a black eye on accident. So now cliff has to wear sunglasses. Then cliff goes and gets yogurt with Ashley. In this process they discuss why max wasn't invited to the wedding. Then the next day cliff and a friend(Clark)who was invited to alvins art show pick up Ashley. And lastly cliff meets up max. In this discussion they talk about maxs past with the bride.

The point of the series was to show how Wes was connected with all his friends and conversed with them with things he had conversed with with the others. LIke the wedding and why Phil wasn't invited he learned from the girl,. "Things" the sunglasses and Mills sweater and the tickets reflect how they were alll connected as well.

i think this is about how one thing led to another. if you noticed in the beginning of each video, it went backwards. it went chapter 4 to 3 to 2 and the to 1. each episode was more of a cause and affect thing. the title "people places and things" means that people,meaning cliff's friends, places, different places, and things, the wedding. one thing led to another
