yeah he was injured last year and now hes ready to step it up and has been a leader this off season and was hitting the holes hard in the warrior bowl.

but plus, they always make him run that stupid shotgun guard pull off tackle run that doesnt go anywhere because the o line doesnt block for some reason when they run that play

i think just any other play than that stupid off tackle would be deadly. we saw it against florida and he was gaining 6, 7 yards each play and in the spring game he was getting around 12 yards every play.

It maybe highschool but you have to take in account he was a Army All-American like Tim tebow, percy harvin, jamaal charles and he was originally recruited by a big school like Nebraska. But I looking forward to see what they can do in a run offense. He reminds me of a smaller Peterson and Libre reminds me of warrick dunn. Cant wait. GO UH!!!

well, what people have to remember is that Hawaii has a passing offense. The running game hasn't played a significant part in Hawaii's offense for a long time now, however with the coaching changes the running game should atleast play a larger role in Hawaii's offense.

The RB position right now is his to lose. Just hope he doesn't take it for granted and continues to work hard. With the right coaching and good work ethic, I believe we'll be seeing Leon playing on Sundays.

The UH RB was 10 yards shy of 1,000 yards rushing last year. He also ranked #10 in the country for all-purpose running and was #1 on the team for total offense, other than Colt Brennan. He averaged 7.56 yards per run, good for 3rd in the country. Oh, and he shared time with a FB or else his numbers would have been higher. Both the RB and FB were also drafted this year. I see what you mean, why in the WORLD would any RB want to come here? :/

This may be high school footage but I can see why Hawaii can use this guy. His speed and if he can catch out of the backfield oh my. Hawaii lost their other brusing running back so Leon is a good replacement. The WRs are going to have fun pulling crackback blocks for Leon. I saw this guy play in highschool. This video does not do him justice. He lead Pasco to a championship his junior year (scoring 2 of the 3 touchdowns) and won the 100meter championships in track his freshman and sophmore years. He is fast and fun to watch.
