  • yes, its reopened, went this year, not nearly the same as it was though hate to say, still beautiful, but damn, i loved navajo falls, and that isnt there anymore, neither are the multiple cliff jumps and rope swings, cus all the sediment washed downstream made it to shallow to jump

  • This was a truly devastating flood. I have been to Havasupai a few times and this is the first footage of the flood I have seen; I am shocked. I only hope we can salvage what remains and do our very best to restore its awesome natural beauty.

  • The severe flooding started 6 hours before the earth "dam" broke. The "dam" was a roadway and colverts that held back a 1/2 acre stock pond 45 miles upstream.

  • I worked this event. I was at work when it happend...and we talked to the guy at the ranch where the dam was.
