  • I've been struggling with depression from medication induced lethargy. This simple and easy exercise is worth more than any number of visits to my consultant. Psychiatrists are charlatans and the immediate and complete improvement provided by yoga shows them up to be so.

Thank you fr this life saving exercise, if only more people were aware of this and give it a try, there is so much unnecessary suffering in the world.

  • watching Ali just made me happy and joyful - thank you for including him in your asana practice. Beautiful :)

It is always a good idea to check with your doctor before practicing any yoga poses if you are dealing with a health concern. Or, you can find a teacher to work one-on-one with to make sure you are doing things correctly.

If you get the ok from your doctor, start small. Come into the pose and take a maximum of 5 deep complete breaths and come out and rest. If you feel good and like the effects, extend it to 10 breaths slowly working up to 5 minutes in the pose. Good luck!

  • Just out of curiosity, what is going on with your doggy's eye? What an adorable pup regardless! I was searching through videos late night for depression relief and yoga, so I am happy I found you! :) Looks like I'm subbing!

My dog Ellie lost her eye a couple years ago due to a cat scratch...but she does not seem to notice one bit! Dogs are resilient like that :) I'm glad you are enjoying the videos. I hope the exercises help...stay tuned for more soon. In light, Amy
