While I appreciate the efforts out there to end illegal immigration, I am very troubled by Fred's previous comments, both in print and on camera, suggesting that "we obviously need to provide a pathway to citizenship for these people". If you can accept a pathway, you can accept the "virtual" immigration line and all the other bunk that comes with it.

I haven't heard Fred say anything in favor of a path to citizenship for illegals. Just the opposite, He favors attrition by enforcement( including punishing companies that hire illegals, securing the border, enforcing current law which, btw makes illegals forever ineligible for resident status.

Three problems exist:

1) Illegal immigrants flooding into the US from Mexico.

2) Levies damaged in Louisiana.

3) Alligator attacks in Florida.

Easy solution: Dig a moat the span of the entire border. Take the dirt to Louisiana to sure up the levies. Bring the gators from Florida to the border and fill up the moat.

Problems solved.

No offense but that's not really a good idea. Why are you going to hurt American corporations and American workers because the police and congress can't do their fucking jobs. The bad thing s about making Co's pay big money is most businesses are mom and pop run shops and have to compete with big corps and everyone else ..that's why they are forced to hire illegals in the first place. See Bush and the Dem's know that putting an end to illegal immigration will destroy NAFTA as well. That's why they are fighting this so damn hard. But when it passes we'll be forced to do something we haven't done in years, raise tariff taxes and slow imports into this country and increase exports. So much for that "New World Order" huh?

The only thing for sure is that if we really get a good bill this nation will initially be hit very hard from food on up. But i believe in the end wages will go up, exports will go up, imports will go down, business will return to America, taxes will go down and things will be a lot better here for everyone now that we aren't paying to support 12 million people who aren't paying taxes anyway.

Nice speach, however I am sick to death about hearing how our immigration system is broken...it's not broken, it's just not enforced! Sure there can be improvements like changing this ridiculous anchor baby law, and cutting off all benefits, but most of the laws are fine, just f_cking enforce them!!!
