Golden oldies. My personal favorite, David Palmer, played here in Sweden (Swedish Open 2008) and I had an interview with him. Very nice guy. What I realized is that these guys practice so hard it's unbelievable. It's really sad that squash is not an Olympic sport. That might open up some sponsor and TV wallets. These guys deserve a good salary. I'm not talking about astronomical fees like in tennis or golf, just decent pay. Today I guess only the top 10-20 players make decent money.
Hey, cool rallies. I tried to download it from YouTube, but every time I download it, it looks as if it is corrupted or there's an error in the file, so I cannot watch it on my computer Does anyone know any other site from where I can download this video?
how r u gonna train up to 16 hours a day...its impossible...u would literally wake up and train until having to go to sleep again(in order to sleep 8 whole hours)
Trust me I'am an excellent squash player. I play other pros sometimes and destroy them.
I do know who Shorbagy is and he is a very good squash player. I played him two times before and beat him both times. 9-7 9-3 9-10 9-8 for the first match. 9-4 9-7 9-3 for the second match.
And why is it then why we never heard of you? Shorbagy is now the new junior world champion and i bet you will not win against him. So go home and train some more hours on the court mate;)
dude, ya can't train 16 hours everday, if you just do some maths, instead of just giving anumer to impress, youll see that you have to train a max of 10-12 hrs in order to eat, of sleep... so think again, the next time you wanna tell a story, think it first
Alright Monkey, we get it, you don't like White but still, you're nowhere compared to him, and I think the call was justified after reviewing the video in slo-mo, but White's reaction is perfectly understandable, since from his position, it looks like Lincou's off the shot.
Just peace and keep your live going beside youtube.
Yeah White can't complain. I even think looking at the slo mo he was in the way of a shot direct to the front wall when the ball got to lincou, which an undoubted stroke. If you hit a sloppy shot like that you're inviting the stroke penalty.
hmm..i´m not sure. the ball was in front of lincou, but his racket was not there. when he finished racket preparation, he could play boast and also to front wall (but white was not already there). Lincou should get stroke, only if ref. though, he could play boas-winner, but i think he could´t, because he did´t have so mutch time to THINK... :)
@fordfactor ya lincou could have definitely played the ball, but i cant tell you how many times ive been retrieving a shot like that and gotten a stroke for it.
wsmvp22, just being a sidewall doesn't automatically result in a Let call rather than a Stroke call. If the sidewall shot would result in a clear winner (as in this clip) then the correct call is Stroke to Lincou. I have had this discussion with the top pro refs in N.America.
At 0:29, White argues, "how is he going to hit a winner from there?". White is pinned in the front right corner and all Lincou has to do is hit it anywhere but there. Also White is very much in danger of being hit by an errant Lincou shot. White is a "pro" player, has no concept of the rules of squash and plays an oafish, "pace" game. Such little class.
true...anywhere 'but' there. if he does hit it there it's side wall, so it's a let. i guess he has a better concept of the rules than you do in this case.
Ever heard of a curve ball? Lincou would have just hit a curve ball and the White would have got his eye punched into the back of his skull. Can't ever forget the curve ball!!
watched these clips more than any other squash clips on you tube.

1) Hold your breath.
2) Copy all of these steps.
3) Go to two other video.
4) Paste it in the comments.
If you can do all of this without breathing you're a good pot smoker

i destroyed peter nicol in a match 3-0. First game 9-1, second game 9-3, third game 9-0. That match was easy.

Train 16 hours a day, and you won't be able to walk in 3 months time. Or grow older than 12 and stop dreaming.
