  • fucking kick ass

  • the wicked sound of rob halford...need i say more?

  • What do you talking about??

Halford doesen´t sing in this one...

It´s Tim Owens. Pheraps you have mixed it up becasue Tim was the singer in Priest 1998-2004...

  • And who did the solos on this song?? it seems like Malmsteen...??

  • It Is Malmsteen! \m/

  • Metal music in all of its forms is cool.

This is one of the cooler songs...

    ADT

  • @sportmike1 he's a bachian, it's not nonsense, you just don't understand it

  • Malmsteem is a great guitarist but He doesn't know when to slow down. He needs to relax and flow. The riffs are too fast and you lose that melodic trance that the original has.

  • omg people

    not Dio not Halfrod ...

this is TIM RIPPER OWENS with YNGWIE!

Ripper is singing in yngwie's new album ...

  • That's good news. Finally Yngwie has a vocalist who doesn't sound cheesy. (Well, I liked Mark Boals too, but aside from that...)

  • Malmsteen....ME F ING YOW!!!!!

  • shit , it;'s Halford With Dio , FEATURING Malmsteen , omg , fucking nice

  • It's Ripper genius. >_>

  • once i screamed"MR. CROWLEY!!!" during fifth period and i didnt realize it cause i thought it was in my head and then when everyone started laughing i sank in my chair an even Mr Cooksey was laughing but i got sent to the front office

  • sounds like Dio

  • @scopionflame101 I think it's Dio WITH Malmsteen. I've heard this before...it's different.

  • @PHender864 yeah, it's dio feat. Malmsteen, they just fucking rock together

  • Comment removed

  • damn the solo is good but i like more the RR solo Yngwie is a god guitar

  • malmsteen over shreds this

  • well done, Ripper!!!

  • Great song! If ya got nothing nice to say. Keep yer f*cking mouth shut.

  • This is halford and tom ripper owens!

  • No, NOT HALFORD! It's TIM (not Tom) RIPPER OWENS!!!!

  • i love judas priest but this cover was a bit limp

  • It's not Judas Priest!

  • Ripper Owens w/ Iced Earth is some cool shit..check out ..Alive In Athens..incredible voice!

  • it is a good cover no doubt, but in my opinion too much self interpretation in the solos. i mean the original solos are so insanely good they shouldn't have changed it that much.

  • Ohh myy goooooooooooooood!!

    *-*

    LOVEEYYOOOUUU!

  • It's better than the original

  • Shit out of luck ...

it's nothing compared to ozzy and Randy rhoads !

  • He sounds nothing like Ronnie James Dio...

It's Ripper Owens, the man who replaced Halford when he and Priest went their seperate ways, Owens came from a Judas Priest tribute band called 'British Steel'

  • No, because it's their song. But Ripper is a way better singer than Ozzy and Malmsteen is a better guitarplayer than Rhoads.

  • I will politely disagree about Rhoads and Malmsteen.

  • We all have different opinions xD Hehe :P

  • uyyyyyyyyy the scream cool

  • It's Ripper Owens, I've checked.

  • Tim 'Ripper' Owens!!...Fuckyn Amazing!

  • Comment removed

  • 2:10 Amazing

  • first scream....AMAZING!

  • I like Ozzy and Judas Priest,

this sounds like Judas Priest, This guy owens

sound is very similar to Rob Halfords vocal style,

    very interesting!

  • @canalsd Not Dio

  • Owens and Malmsteen only. Not judas priest

  • Judas priest didn't have anything to do with this version. The high and low vocals are both by Tim "Ripper" Owens.

  • wow, i like this one better than the original

  • yngwie sure does play fast :)

    nice cover

  • Rob Halford is a much better singer than Ozzy, Ozzy can barely speak anymore and he, though more now than ever, relies upon an extensive array of vocal processors to make his voice sound like anything anymore.

  • best cover in existence cradle o filffh sucks and moonspell... not much to say lon live ozzy, randy, zakk AND OF COURSE THE GOD OF GODS YNGWIE FUCKING MALMSTEEN!!!!!!

  • Cradle of Filth is not a bad band at all, they are actually VERY good, lets see you try to do half the shit Dani Filth does

  • ive preffer the original one, loong life randy rhoads

  • ipnotic song :-))

  • i love the first scream thing ripper does on the yngwie album

  • Technically he'd sing covers every night on stage when he sang for Judas Priest and then again for Iced Earth. So, yeah I'd say he sang tons of covers :)

  • He has an entire album dedicated to covers. :)

And I must say, they are phenomenal covers.

  • realy wat about jugulator. and also wen a singer takes over as the singer for a band its no longer playing a cover hes just playing the previous stuff.

  • tim owens is the singer on yngwie's 2008 release perpetual burn and is part of the current lineup, he is on tour with yngwie always now

  • Perpetual Flame!!

Perpetual Burn is Jason Becker's album released 1988.

  • indeed, you are right, sorry about that, i listen to both those albums a lot

  • It's obvious that Yngwie named his album after Jason's, so it wasn't such a big mistake :)

  • o really? sweet

  • Ok, I can never get the right answer. Is this Tim Owens, or Rob Halford, or both? And you sure sure its Malmsteen? Yes it sounds a lot like him, but I have slight doubts from other things i have heard

  • its tim owens. and yes its yngwie malmsteen.

  • its tim owens and yngwie for sure i saw yngwie talkin about it on that metal show on vh1 classic

  • I think Dio is on this one to right?

  • im not sure the only song i know dio and yngwie did together is dream on by aerosmith

  • There's no way Dio would cover an Ozzy song. :'(

  • No problem; you should check out his originals tho.

  • Yes. let me think umm he did a cover of "flight of icarus" by iron maiden, ummmmm hes done a bunch of priest stuff uhhhh, he did war pigs, and I'm sure theres other stuff as well.

  • yes this is tim

  • I fucking love ripper owens voice.

  • les falto Dio en la primera estrofa

    wow el medio trio

    metal yeahh!!!!

  • Don't talk shite. Malmsteen paid the original full respect there. Randy woulda loved it.

  • True that guitard1211.!!!!!!!!!

  • its great...but never...ever so fuck you ever fuck with the songs original solo

  • This sucks.. Totaly destroying the orginal song.. And yngwie makes the guitar sound like a shit in part of randy... argh...

  • Yeah I would have much rather heard Tipton do the whole thing.

  • wow smoking good cover!

  • cradle of filth

    en mejor version!

  • cradle of filth sucks

  • FUCK YOU!!!

  • Man, if thats really Yngwie Malmsteen then, WAY TO SHRED! Shows great respect to Randy by not drastically changing the song and just adding a little dash of his amazing speed and mastery of the arpeggio. I like this version a lot..is it available on a tribute album somewhere? Also, is it just me or does Ripper sound as much like King Diamond as he does Rob Halford?

  • It's not Judas Priest:/

It's Ripper Owens ex-singer of Judas Priest and Yngwie Malmsteen on guitar playing Ozzy's cover:)

  • LoL

  • yngwie's hands need to be cut off and put behind glass in a museum

  • ok but after he dies

  • How brutal!

  • After or before he dies?

  • you mean when he dies right? lol

  • I like Ripper's singing, he's a badass singer.

  • Comment removed

  • eh DONT FEAR THE RIPPER

    wicked tribute here btw

  • Tim Ripper Owens is a great singer but it's like he has no style, always covering people.

Ps. This is not Judas Priest.

  • You should check out the fallowing origional bands hes in(was in).

    1.beyond fear

    2. his solo stuff (album-play my game)

    3.winters bane

  • Who is it then?

  • That is most definately Ripper Owens and Possibly Dio but not Halford. Killer version, way better than Ozzy's Vocals ever could be.

  • excelenteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    KE GRUPASO xDDD

  • Thats Ripper on vocals........Great job !

  • Does ripper owens ever get through a full song without fucking up?

  • i dont know does ozzy?

  • wrong- its Tim Ripper Owens

  • Is this singed by Tim Owens?

I think this voice is like Ronnie James Dio,Rob Halfold and Ozzy Osbourne.

    But... He is only copy.

    But he makes solo album.

    He found hisself by hisself!

  • better than ozzy

  • Nobody ever touches the eternal Randy Rhoads, but I must say that Ripper can sing his arse off. This is not Yngwie's best work either. . .eh. . . he is better than this.

  • Judas is ok but the king is Ozzy

  • I dare Ozzy to hit notes like Rob

  • I correct myself, not Rob...

  • Wow, I never thought someone can actually ruin a guitar solo that bad. Thanks Yngwie.

  • What have u done to my head!!? feels like i´m dying here.creeping like a crocodile, bursten n beg for more... Oaaaah

  • Perfect for the last minuits before going to show And showwing off coool ut med pacdket

  • this is the best version of this song that has ever been played!!!!!!!!!!

  • Dudes, Dio's awesome and all but this is Ripper Owens and he's friggin awesome in his own right.

  • Good but the original version is better! R.I.P. Randy!

  • too bad randy had to leave so soon... greatest guitar player who ever lived...

  • Thats sooooo good love yngwie!

  • Fucking Awesome !

  • WTF THIS ANT PRIEST THIS IS TIM RIPPER OWENS...damn Judas Priest is great and all but this is Former Iced Earth Vocalist and Current Yngwie Vocalist granted Ripper was in Priest its been a long time lol it would make more sense to say Iced Earth-Mr Crowley- Yngwie rofl besides it really makes people think its Halford and Tim Ripper Owens is EPIC bro :D

  • it's not just ripper... dio's in there too, he's got a longer part at the beginning of the song.

  • Bro Dio hates Ozzy from the bottom of his heart having him sing an Ozzy song in never gonna happen he canceled a whole tour cause of him it is Ripper Owens only he just sounds like Dio thats they way his voice is.....your facts are wrong buddy >.>, not to Mention Ripper is Yngwies new singer so that explains EVERYTHING.

  • Yes this aren't judas priest but this vocal and guitar are good too;]

  • no halford?? :(

  • F*CKING EPIC

  • One word ............. fuckin amazing !

  • that's were two words XD

  • this isn't judas priest. Its Tim Ripper owens with Malmsteen. neither Glen Tipton or KK Downing are in this track. Only Ripper is affiliated with priest in this track and even he dosent sing for them any more

  • your comment is worthless

  • WOW. this is great not to mention the vocals destroy ozzy's version, nothing is the same as randy's guitar playing though especially since yngwie is the one replacing him haha

  • yeah, he did over do the solos.....oh well. i love ripper owens, butiwish rob halford had of sung it... ='(

  • mark boals sang with yngwie for 10 years, doogie white for 7. i think yngwie is finally getting a better response and he'd be very stupid to dump ripper. still, ripper is out there doing lots of side projects, so ynwgie might opt for something who will be always available.

  • i think it says a lot about tim owens's ability that so many people believe this is BOTH dio and halford.

    no, it's just tim.

  • yea id give anything to be confused for dio or rob haha voice-wise that is...

  • yeah this isnt judas priest. it's actually tim owens (yeah he was at one point their singer but still) with yngwie on guitar, tim bogert from beck, bogert & appice, tommy aldrige who played with ozzy, and derek sherinian who played with dream theater, kiss, alice cooper, etc.

  • VERY NICE :)

  • that was fuckin great

  • why redo a perfect song.and that go's 4 any song

  • Because you love the song and want to try to do it justice and keep it alive, in the eyes of the public and maybe show off your own chops a bit? Yes, Malmsteen hammed this WAY the fuck up, but Ripper kicks ass in this version.

  • Hey nicely put TMG! If anyone truly loved this genre of music, you have to give credit to owens for his KICK ASS vocals and malmsteen for his guitar! This isn't meant to be "better" than the original! I think this is just a masterpiece (tribute) for all those devoted fans. I think it rocks and kicks ass .... the essence that this genre achieved!

  • It's a great rendition of the song, I just wish Yngwie had pulled back on the sweeping a little bit. He overdid the solos in my opinion.

  • the tags are way off

he put ozzy osbourne as the tag god not even close. judas preist is one thing but to give ozzy credit for a crappy song by s***ty @#$ band is another major thing!!

  • Yes!

  • Hyva versio hienosta biisista!

  • singing wasn't bad but man Yngwie should stick to his mindless shredding

he shouldn't be ruining a perfectly amazing solo by playing some out of key shredding

    an amazing song butchered

  • this is ripper owens singing

  • OMG... how could they do this!!...

    This is SO HORRIBLE...

Yngwie needs to stay with his originals.. he took the soul out of the solo...

Just a horrible thing to try and cover this song..

  • i forget where but i saw somewhere that randy rhoads second solo in this song was ranked (i forget what place) in the rolling stone magazine for best solo or something i forget the category. also this song made me have headaches for 2 days. like the signing sucked and guitar sucked way off and not even close to god. (p.s. I can't stand screamo)

  • Sounds better whit OZZYs voice and it sounds much better just a little slower

  • the song doesn´t sucks, this version sucks

  • I'll probably get thumbs down 4 this, but there's no clue of feeling in this song (well maybe Yngwie's ego), Randy and Ozzy put the right amount of everything to this song and Randy's solos actually have feeling and they're not show-off attempts, well that's only my opinion.

  • deffinetly dio singing not halford

  • Not Halford, neither dio. It's Tim ''Ripper'' Owens

  • fucking yngwie faster isnt better your faster then randy yah but you dont have anywhere near his feeling .... yah fucking tool

and it is ripper owens singing

  • hey dumbass this is dio singing

  • Guitar fucking owns.

  • Its Ripper Owens on vocals

  • guitar fuckin sucks

  • definitley not halford. nothing like him
