@youngdones That is interesting, because I have been out of my body in a near death experience and I was just as real outside of my body as I was in it, and I could think, see, hear and I felt fear, no it was actually terror because God was dealing with me over unforgiveness and I looked up past my ceiling and there was only outer darkness. One of my son's died of a drug overdose, but praise God He was saved on his death bed. He prayed the sinners prayer with us after coming out of a deep coma, then slipped back into it and died the next morning. I know he is in heaven by God's mercy! Drugs are evil to the core.

The lion is god who created the worlds the series goes from the start of the world to the end. As for learning about his NDE I did not know either until recently. I was an atheist when I was young. I thought the idea of God was funny and that people were funny for believing such. Now I am old and sage and how anyone can take a serious, comprehensive look into NDE, modern physics and serious consistent research showing that consciousness arises from outside the brain -- and still be an atheist is beyond me. However, if consciousness comes from outside (as a reviewed, repeated experiment seems to suggest), it is a non-physical reality that has "life" (not an element or anything). I don't think you can compare this to a near death experience. It would probably have been better to make a "no atheists in foxholes" kind of videos in the sense that you were in danger of dying but it did not make you one of those "I'm scared of death"-believers.
I was skiing when I had a heart attack. My heart stopped and for a few minutes I was technically dead. Fortunately the ski patrol restarted my heart and the hospital doctors were able prevent brain damage. I was an atheist before and I am an atheist now.

I don't like the comparison of drugs to adrenal experiences such as bungee jumping and mountain climbing, it's apples and orange and i don't think it's a very good analogy. When you do these things the main reason is the adrenaline rush of a near death experience. Drugs however is for the experience the drugs have on the brain. In my limited experience with hallucinogens the actual trips are never really anything special, more telling the funny stories afterwards that has the most appeal.

Having a bad trip isn't a nde. When you take the testimony of 1000 people who had a bad trip. they stories will have big differences. But nde had almost all the same story. The tunnel, the light, the love, the family. Children meet relatives that they never met and describe them. You cannot compare and so you cannot judge until you'll be there.
People don't become religious after a NDE because they're afraid of death, they want to experience what they experienced, forever. And the only way is to ask for forgivness and accept Jesus as your saviour.

near death means you really die for at least an instant,normally at least for a couple of seconds or longer.but for some reason the state of death doesn't continue and becomes aborted.

The lion is god who created the worlds the series goes from the start of the world to the end. As for learning about his NDE I did not know either until recently. I learned it in a documentry about him called C.S. Lewis and the Chronicles of Narnia. No he did not just talk himself into being Christian. One does not just talk themselves into believing.

I've had a shit-load of near death experience, In the double digits now, and I'm still as Atheist as ever. mainly because I see that If I'm an Atheist, If I oppose religion as much as I do I blaspheme as much as I do, if God had me in his grasps that many times why would he not throw me in hell? if anything that experience showed me that in all occasions ignorance put me in a bad situation and intelligence got me out. I don't like the comparison of drugs to adrenal experiences such as bungee jumping and mountain climbing, it's apples and orange and i don't think it's a very good analogy. When you do these things the main reason is the adrenaline rush of a near death experience. Drugs however is for the experience the drugs have on the brain. In my limited experience with hallucinogens the actual trips are never really anything special, more telling the funny stories afterwards that has the most appeal.

Now have an OBE and check what the card is. When you snap back into reality check if its the same card. This has been tested extensively, and in all cases the OBE failed with a 0% accuracy rate.
